Severus Snape Vraag

Who would u have wanted to play Snape, if not Alan Rickman?

I was thinking earlier, what a fantastic job Alan did of portraying my favourite charter in HP...and then I thought, who else could have done it? And I came up blank! Any ideas? :)

Yeah, I think I'm on the same page as u guys - there is nobody quite like Alan for portraying Snape! I can't think of anyone who would be any where near as good as he has been :)

Not only I can't see someone else than Alan to play Severus, but I don't think I want to see someone else than him to play that character. He IS Severus.

But Alan was the perfect Severus -- he was a very skilled, respected actor with lots of experience dealing with conflicted characters, who also happened to share a lot of physical characteristics with Severus.

I can't really imagine anybody playing him.

LOL ! Though I found him perfect as he was. I think Alan contributed greatly to the fact that people like Severus - and I'm not talking about his looks, but also for his voice, attitude and mannerisms. For being Severus.

Well, he's drawing inspiration from the Severus played door Alan. So back to square one - Alan.

His mouth movements are too distracting. lol. But other than that he has a good look and voice for the part.

Nobody. I can see a few actors who might look the part for Severus Snape, but that doesn't mean that they're perfect as him. Alan is the one and only perfect Severus Snape for me. I wouldn't want anybody else to be Severus other than him. PERIOD!!

like many of u, i too think Alan is the only one who can play Snape well. But people wearing the black costume and black wig and putting on that makeup will not look much different.XD just the appearance.

Sure they will. Unless u apply makeup to them to make them all look alike...**shrugs** If u put the black wig & costume on Alan Rickman, u have Severus. On anyone else, it's a Halloween costume. ;)
