No. Severus and Lily's friendship was (supposedly) pretty rocky long before that incident. Him calling her mudblood was just the straw that broke the camel's back.
I think if Lily had had any romantic feelings for Severus ever, she would have made them known, in some way.

Not exactly,I think there were other factors involved too.So I've heard,apparently JK Rowling zei herself that if Snape wasn't so fascinated and obsessed with studying the dark arts,then Lily's feelings towards him would have been romantic.
Sadly no... I ship Sev & Lily and think they would have made a great couple but the love was one-sided she loved the bully not the right choice from my pov
People, especially young people, tend to forget that u can love someone very much without those feelings being romantic in any way. Lily loved Severus but her feelings were strictly platonic. I've often wondered what would have happened if Lily had let Severus finish before storming off...when she demands of him "why should I be any different?" u have to know what his reply was going to be...it was right there on his lips..."because I love you," but of course, he never got to say those words. Ever.
