Severus counted the days with tick marks on his head-board; forty-eight hart-, hart warming days with his Lily. 1,152 of the most incredible moments of his lifetime. They were big numbers when drawn out...but they felt like only a few seconden to Snape. If he had his way he would spend every waking moment with Lily Evans. He ripped his gaze off the top, boven of his bed, his hair was a mess, and his green slytherin pajamas irritated his skin from being thrashed around in. Snape had been dreaming, a very risque dream in his opinion, what most people would discribe as inappropriate...But perfectly okay to him. He could remember the feel of his bare skin on hers, her hair in his face, tangling with his...but he shook it away, it wasn't exactly practical to focus on things that aren't real. He stood up, stumbled slightly, and wobbled down to his trunk, pulling out his boeken out of habit, but then he remembered, it was Christmas, he didn't have class today. He grinned, and jumped up and down like a little boy. He could now spend however much time he wanted with Lily. He threw his clothes on, ignored his presents, and sprinted down the stairs, Severus barely rounded the corner uithangbord at the bottom and almost tripped over the green throw rug. Snape reached vooruit, voorwaarts and threw open the door, and ran out into the hallway. His bare feet slapped the cold marble floor as he flew past many cheery students wearing festive clothes, but came to a shuttering halt as he slammed into Lily Evans, and they fell to the floor. "What's the hurry Sev?" She giggled, blushing, as she stared up at him. She looked quite beautiful sprawled on the floor like that...He smiled, "Merry Christmas, Lily!" he exclaimed, kissing her gently. He pulled away and smiled at her, before getting up. "Let's go!" he whispered, pulled her up, and wrapped his green slytherin scarf around her bare neck. He grinned at her red (and now green) clothing. "Very in touch with your christmas side then, are we?" he chuckled. "Yeah," she grinned "great isn't it?" He nodded, and grabbed her hand, and they went running back towards the Slytherin dormatory. He stood in front of the door to the dormatory, and blushed "It was silly of me to bring u here..." he whispered, "you can't come in here." She laughed "Yeah I can!" she grinned "look what I snatched from potter!" She held up, well, nothing, in fact, she was invisible from her nose down. Snape looked at her, puzzled. "It's a...special...blanket?" She laughed again. "No...it's an invisibility cloak!" she exclaimed. "Have u opened your presents yet?" she asked, her eyes big, like a puppy's. "No....." he murmured, she smiled, but still kept her puppy dog eyes "want some company?" she asked, throwing the mantel over her self. "Yeah." he opened the door and led her into the stairwell, he was the only slytherin boy staying at school on christmas, and turned to face her. "you don't have to hide your face anymore" he whispered, pulling the mantel off of her. He brushed her lips with his. but she pulled away looking down to his chest, "let's go look at your presents." she whispered pulling him up the stairs, and dragging him over to his bed. She sat on his bed, and leaned against his pillow, lily crossed her legs and watched severus as he unwrapped woolen socks from his mother, a box of every flavor beans from Dumbledore, and a remembral from mulciber. The corners of Lily's mouth twitched into a smile as he finally reached for the present she had picked for him. He unwrapped it hastily, before seeing that the box had a bowl inside, which had a rose floating on the surface of the water. He pulled it out carefully, and watched as the rose sank below the water and grew into a lion fish. He grinned "Lily! It's amazing!" She grinned back, "you like it?" she asked, closing her eyes. "I love it!" he stammered, unsure of what to say. "Good." she murmured, reaching vooruit, voorwaarts and grabbing him door his tie, pulling him on top, boven of her. "Your shirt's on inside out." she mumbled, " it's annoying me." She unbuttoned his shirt, and pushed it off, his skin matched the snow outside as their bodies tangled together, neither of them thought of the future, of of the past; as far as both of them were concerned, the only things that existed were themselves, and no one could take that away.
