ComoLoca Lol, you're welcome BH. I must admit, I've come back to it a few times through the day since I've posted it.

Can't you see us all sitting here, squirming in our seats? It fascinates me that he says that, because in one of my favorite interviews with Doug Bradley (Pinhead, the [i]Hellraiser[/i] franchise) he says that, after being away from the character for so long, when he got back into the costume and got the black eye lenses in, he said he could feel the change happen, he could feel Pinhead take control. Those of us here who have plumbed the depths of Our Potions Master's darkness and who are acquainted with the Black Pope of Hell I think will have no problem imagining Severus Snape facing off with Pinhead. I can hear Severus saying, in that black-silk sarcasm of his, "[i]pain[/i], you jack-booted freak? You don't know [i]anything[/i] about [i]pain.[/i] Let me tell you all about [i]my pain[/i]." Yeah...I'm going to have to write this fic. Thank you again for posting that video. Gods it's marvelous.

ComoLoca Ooooh, I'm a sucker for crossover fiction. Unfortunately there are so few well written ones out there. Most writers seem to have a bit of trouble keeping everyone in character. Also I'm a bit of a scaredy cat as far as horror movies are concerned so I'm not familiar with Pinhead. Luckily though I have no problem with [i]reading[/i] horror, so if you were to write such a fic, I'd be more than happy to read it, eager in fact :D Oh, and you're welcome :)

BlackHound ComoLoca, I would highly recommend Clive Barker's [i]The Hellbound Heart[/i], it's the tiny little novella that started off the [i]Hellraiser[/i] film franchise, and equally, there is [i]Cabal[/i], the novella that launched [i]Nightbreed[/i]. I have just as high a recommend for [i]Clive Barker's Nightbreed[/i] and [i]Clive Barker's Hellraiser[/i], the two graphic novel series he did in partnership with Epic Comics. Unfortunately, they're long out of print, but I have seen some of the issues available on Amazon.com. Clive wrote some of the stories in the books, and had final say on the storylines, so there's no real "canon/non-canon" concerns there. I have loved them both for...wow...25 years now, and in my darker turn of mind, I can see them both in the Wizarding World. I'm feeling there's four fics I could write, the first one would be a one-shot that would be Severus and Pinhead facing off, I've already got the title in my head and the basis for the story; the other three would be inter-related to each other and would take some time if I decided to do them. The SS/Pinhead one-shot I'll probably start working on today. ;)

I remember watching a VH1 Halloween 100 scariest film moments, or something like that, and listening to Doug Bradley's amusement over how many fan letters Pinhead got. My husband turned to me and asked "what is it with women and Pinhead?" and I just laughed. I didn't even know how to express that fascination! Similarly, I'm a fan of The Office, and my favorite character is Dwight. In case you don't watch it, he is prob one of the quirkiest people there. Anyway, there was a Halloween episode in which they did a brief montage of Dwight's previous costumes, and when they showed him as Pinhead, I just about fell over.

ComoLoca @ BlackHound: Was just talking to my other half and he too recommended I read it. He told me a bit about the character, but I think I might just go ahead and discover him through the book. From the bits I was told, your fic idea sounds pretty awesome. :) So, please, please write it, I'm going to buy the book and read it so I'll be able to better enjoy your fic. Who knows, if I really like it, I might even muster up enough courage to sit through the movie. When I told my OH this, he laughed and said he'd like to see that...

BlackHound YAY jester and ComoLoca!!! Ok, now, I have Wednesday off, so I am going to start writing the SS/Pinhead fic then, because I am also working on the next installment of my currently-running Severus Snape fic, and I'd like to get that installment done and posted on Wendesday.
