I just switched from condoms to birth control pills, and they're awesome. My and my guy don't have to worry about stds, otherwise we would have stuck with the condoms. Also I'm not against morning after pills and abortion, so if anything were to happen.... :) but it won't *crosses fingers*

I've been on the pill since I was 14, so when I started having sex at 17 it was nice I was already covered. Still, I almost always used a condom too. I also get regular GYN check ups every six months. I only didn't used a condom twice and even though I was on the pill he still pulled out. I've only ever had intercourse with one guy. I've done other things with other people though.

Pulling out is NOT a good contraception! Before a guy comes there is already pre-cum on his penis and you can get pregnant from that. Also this method does not protect you from STD's.

Using condoms and birth control is the savest way. It is almost 100% safe against pregnancies and it also protects against STD's.

I myself use injectable birth control: I only have to get the shot once every three months, don't have to worry about forgetting a pill and don't get my period anymore. It's great!

Ring
LadyLilith picked Ring:
The ring is fantastic. I don't have to worry about taking a pill everyday, and I don't have to get a shot. And I don't have to use condoms. If you use tampons, then it's no problem. And if you're having sex and it's making you uncomfortable (which it's normally not supposed to), you can keep it out for up to three hours and not get pregnant. I hate condoms; I love the all natural feeling. The ring is perfect!

I use both, condoms can break. I trust myself to take the pill, I'm not going to put my whole trust in a condom.

The ring is brilliant if you're sticking to one partner. Otherwise a combination of ring and condom to keep those nasties away as well. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Just condoms- Condom could split, you might not hold it right etc.

Just the pill?- off-chance it might not work.

Condoms and pill- Off chance it might all fail. XD

Implant
BabyBlud picked Implant:
Everything is not 100% sure of protecting against pregnancy but i've put the implant in as that's what i use.
It doesn't hurt to have it put in/ taken out, and it protects you for 3 years, so you don't have to worry about getting more in (like condoms) or going to the doctors every 3 months (like the injection) or taking pills everyday which you may forget to do.

Spermicidal lubricated (& etc. maybe) condoms.... low dose estrogen added for me plz :D (The shot was fine too in place of pills-tried and done that & did not have side effects) BUT~ I would "prefer" NONE/NOTHING -however that is in an ideal setting & when both people WANT.

The pill worked well in my 20's; after my first baby, I ended up trying several different types but still had break-through bleeding and other issues. I think there are even more combinations now, but I'm too old and am now living under a curse that I'll have a mid-life baby, god help me.

When the time comes with a guy... Probably condoms, But last result is the pull out method. But in my opinion with the pull out method I might as well call myself pregnant because I've done the research but it's better than nothing....
