I play in a youth soccer league. Some teams, mostly competitive ones have to travel very far distances. Once my team drove all the way to San Diego. Thats about a seven uur drive! There is meer than one league and a bunch of tournaments. The Biggest League/cup there is, is the State cup. First teams choose if they want to play in it. Then they create the groups. The winners of the groups with the best scores, go into groups with the top, boven teams and have a big competitive battle for the win. The rest of the teams from the other groups play for the winner of the bronze, silver and gold. The 6 winners of the groups and the two other strongest teams get chosen to play in the quarter, semifinal, and final. Every team that made it this far gets a medal. If u lose the quarter final u play the another team that loses the quarter final and it it keeps doing that same process. My team made it to 8th place. Which was good because about half of are team was made of kids playing up. I was a kid playing up. Now I'm on my age appropriate team with all the other kids that played up and we already tied the 1st place team in the whole area! I hope are team wins the whole League.

Amidst the many conflicts, animosities, wars, apartheids, and prejudice,
Our world, divided door nations, falls silent and becomes coherent every four years.
It comes together at a nexus to witness a beautiful game.
It is a game that has won the attention of all religions, colors, and ethnicities.
It is a game that is not racist.
It does not see wealth of prestige.
It does not see in black and white, but in the beauty of skill and heart.
It is not forced. Instead, it flows.
It allows seemingly inconsequential nations, unheard of before, to be listened to and become known to the world.
It allots each nation time on the world stage to perform their unique talent in front of the greatest of all audiences.
It is a game that unites.
The world's game.
A language, unique, but spoken door every person.
...It is the beautiful game.

I thought this suits the tagline : "One ball to unite the world."

Picture I took in an Argentinean Soccer game!
I was looking through the soccer spot, and I read the beschrijving "one ball to unite the world", so I felt like writing the first soapbox for the spot...

Here's my "soccer story"...
I am from Argentina, and here soccer is not just a sport, it's a kind of lifestyle. Everyone has their team (many times u "inherit" your team door family, others u just become a fan later) but everyone has a soccer club to support.

I have been to a few soccer games, and seeing my country play is one of the best experiences ever!

My favoriete players today are Juan Roman Riquelme *because he's an amazing playmaker* and Lionel Messi *seeing him play is incredible! and he's only 20!!*... But there are a LOT others that I like as well, but this could go on forever!

My whole family is a fan of "River Plate" and so am I...but, strangely enough, I also like Boca (I know weird, they are rivals, but I like it cause of Riquelme haha) and I'm also a fan of FC Barcelona in the spanish league.
