Sonic the Hedgehog 1991-1996 Several scenes toon tails keeping up with sonic, ON FOOT!... (In a boss fight on the death egg, u chase eggman at FULL SPEED and he out runs sonic{On foot} to his final boss walker thingy...) not to assume sonic is really juicing, but still...
In sonic adventure 2 shadow appeared and hes been giveing sonic a run for his rings ever since. n(however shadow has rocket boots sooooo...)
However ever since 2006, sonics been the fastest thing alive! And he always will be!

Sonic's the only one who is truly fast! shadow cheats because he has rocket shoes!!!!
