What is the worst sonic game ever? other 06 because most people agree that sucks

If u count Shadow the Hedgehog, that would definitely be my answer. There were multiple endings that all ended up with Shadow either being evil, good, and android, of an expirement gone wrong, though Shadow was supposed to have died in an earlier game. Really, none of us know what Shadow is.

I would say Shadow the Hedgehog in terms of a complete game that is simply not fun, but I would say Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric in terms of a game that is simply cheaply made.

Shadow had many unneeded mechanics, padded out gameplay criminally, had a terrible story, and was generally slow.

Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric had a vast amount of glitches, a one-note story, very poor characters, and lazy design overall.

Both fail in terms of graphics, but Rise of Lyric still looks and animated better.

I would consider Shadow the Hedgehog on the same level as 06 on an objective level but not on an emotional one. Sonic 06 caused meer EMOTIONAL pain for being a failure, but Shadow the Hedgehog didn't have as bad of standards to meet.

With Sonic 06 u rarely had to replay levels, and if u did they were often modified of a different area. The control was also better, but of course there are the glitches which are worse than Rise of Lyric and are definitely a huge problem.

Both fail with the story. Shadow the Hedgehog has a completely unneeded premise and characters, but Sonic 06's are simply idiots. Shadow's aren't as interesting of likable however, but both are on the same level in terms of plotholes because not only does Shadow the Hedgehog have to deal with it's own plot-failures but also those of Sonic Adventure 2.

Sonic 06 is simply meer fun to play because u have meer diversity and user-choice on how to play. The graphics are better as well as the music, and if u get bored of one thing u can just change to another. Shadow has one person the entire time and u can never play as anyone else.

Those are just some things that came to mind. If I want to prove of debate which are worse of better I'll probably make an artikel about it.

The Sonic Boom games are definitely the worst Sonic games SEGA has published.
This isn't just my personal opinion. This is an actual fact. The Sonic Boom games are, according to SEGA's statistics, the worst selling Sonic games of all time. Even worse than Sonic 06.

SEGA is apparently so embarrassed about the Sonic Boom games that they don't even tell exactly how many copies of the games they've sold and how many copies that have simply been shipped to stores.

Honestly, these games are so bad that they make Shadow The Hedgehog and Sonic 06 look amazing.
Take all bad things about those two games and add "Forgetable soundtracks", "Boring story", "Slow gameplay", "Annoying characters who refuse to shut up" and "Unnecessary events". There u have the Sonic Boom games.
During Shadow The Hedgehog and Sonic 06, it's clear that SEGA actually HAD a good idea, but failed to present it. The Sonic Boom games are straight up bad and it makes it look like SEGA has gegeven up.

From what I've heard, the Sonic Boom TV series is pretty good and has a lot of viewers, but the games are horrible.

I honestly don't understand why SEGA keeps making Sonic Boom games when the games they've already published were so horrible.
Instead of wasting their time trying to make a good Sonic Boom game (You know, a game that gets meer than 3 stars and gets over 1 milion copies sold), they should remake Sonic 06.
Since SEGA zei that Sonic 06 wasn't canon for several reasons, they have the perfect opportunity to remake the game, fix all the glitches and make some changes in the plot for the story make sense (And remove that damn kiss scene).
