I hope they bring Tikal back.

Truthfully, i feel that Sega's bringing in alot of new characters, and some of the old ones are loosing their role. Like Tails for instance. In the Sonic and the Black Knight game, he's a lone little BLACKSMITH. What happened to the good old days where he used to be right behind Sonic during his adventures? :/ And im sure barely anyone recognizes the old characters in the avi. But for those who do, i think it'd be nice to see them again. They seemed like cool characters that never really had their chance to shine. Sega's doing the same thing they did to the old characters. They made new ones that they probably wont use anymore. (mainly speaking of those main girls like Saharah and Princess-whats-her-face). True, some like Silver and Blaze are being used a bit more, but i think the old ones should make a huge comeback!

The only characters i don't see them bringing back are Mighty and Ray (whoever it was that created them left SEGA and took all of his creations with him)

characters i REALLY wanna see in more games:

Bark
Bean
Fang
Honey (i know she's just a copy of Honey from fighting Vipers for the SEGA Saturn, but still.)

I also wouldn't mind seeing character from the Sat Am show (Sally Acorn for example)

Hm, well im not sure if they would be in game because they belong to the TV show and the comics, not the video games..

First of all. I have no clue who those charachters pasted on the picture that says you want to bring oldies back say. People who weren't born early enough dont know. I would have said both but i wanted new charchaters more.

Eh. *shrug* Not particularly. They can bring him back if they wanted. It'd be a bit odd, but cool none-the-less.
Just because he was in old games doesnt mean they have to travel to the past to see him :p

I think they're making FAR too many new characters. What's wrong with using characters like Metal Sonic, Bean, Bark, and Espio? Absolutely nothing! Now I agree that adding new characters adds more variety to the series, but some of the characters have absolutely NO purpose at all. They should bring back the older characters, but keep certain characters like Blaze and Silver.

It would give the games more variety and give the newer char. stories more intense.

Obviously we should bring back some of the old characters. I would love to see Fang and if he was playable in a new game, I would select him.
