Nakoma was getting ready for a party when she stumbled upon a picture of herself and her family. The picture made her think about her brother. "My life would be complete if u were here." she zei in sign language. Nakoma missed her little brother. Even though she never got to meet him, she still thought of him every uur of the day. She sighed. "Maybe Anakin will help." she zei again in sign language as she went to get her master to let him know the party was about to start.
As Nakoma quietly opened the door, she smiled at a sleeping Anakin. Anakin had gotten back from yet another grueling mission and when he got back, he wanted to do nothing but rest. Nakoma's smile grew as she heard the gentle snores coming from him. She hated to wake him up, but she knew she had to. She lightly shook him. "I don't snore, Obi-Wan!" Anakin grumbled crankily. Nakoma couldn't help but let out some stray giggles. Anakin got embarrassed when he realized who was there.
"I am so sorry, Nakoma!" he apologized. Nakoma blinked as if nothing had happened. "What'cha need?" he asked. Nakoma let him know the party was to start in afew hours. "Okay. I'll get ready in 30 minutes." Anakin stated sleepily. Nakoma asked if she could stay and talk. "Sure." Anakin answered casually.
Nakoma closed her eyes sadly as her little brother crossed her mind again. Anakin soon saw the sad look. "What's wrong Nakoma?" he asked concerned. In sign language, Nakoma zei she needed to tell him something. "What do u wanna tell me?" Anakin asked. Nakoma then told the story of her little brother. As she told the story, Anakin's hart-, hart began to break for her. He knew EXACTLY what she was going through.
After the story, she began to cry. Anakin went closer to her and hugged her. She cried even harder in the embrace. "Shhhh." Anakin soothed. Nakoma took a couple deep breaths. "I know what you're going through." Anakin consoled as he ran his hand through Nakoma's hair. "You do?" Nakoma asked in sign language. Anakin nodded.
"I also lost a dear family member-my mother." he stated. Nakoma's jaw dropped a bit. "Grieving can take alittle longer to get over sometimes." Anakin said. Anakin didn't like talking about the death of his mother. This time, he only did so to help Nakoma. He was returning the favor since she helped him get over Ahsoka's lost will to live. "Grieve if u need to." Anakin softly advised. Nakoma smiled and hugged her master tightly.
Something popped up in Nakoma's mind. "The party." she reminded. "That's right! I better get ready." Anakin replied. He suddenly blushed. "Can u step out of the room for afew seconden of so?" he asked. Nakoma smiled and stepped out. Soon, they were off to the party.
At the party during a feast, Nakoma did a geroosterd brood, toast in honor of her brother. Her brother's name was Rafe. Anakin couldn't get over how beautiful she and Padme looked. Also, Nakoma couldn't get over how handsome he and Obi-Wan looked. For the rest of the night, Nakoma enjoyed herself. She was glad she had some help. Even meer so to have Anakin as her master.
