Its because Damon is so out there, funny, bad-boy, that people can't appreciate what a great guy Stefan is. He's sweet and loyal and charming and handsome and has a much better body than Damon and has great hair and is romantic and I could go on forever, but people like bad-boys, and I do sometimes too, but they just can't appreciate Stefan because they can't get over Damon :( sad, but true.

I disagree... i LOVE Stefan Salvatore... i just L-O-V-E His brother more (Sorry Stef). I don't see why people would hate Stefan, he's awesome. Serious, romantic, HOT! I Would love either of them if i had the chance. Some people can just be... stupid. Stupid because they hate Stefan for invalid reasons. I'm more of a Damon fan myself, but ill protect Stefan any day.

It is as simple as some like chocolate, others vanilla. Different taste. I love both brothers. I accept and respect that others don't. I think it is unnecessary and impossible for us to figure out why. If we really want to know why, we should ask those who dislike him.

I agree with Katiasara, I get it that people have different tastes and I respect that. What I don't get is why on the Damon or Delena spot, Damon is praised like a god, he cannot do anything wrong in their eyes, while Stefan is depicted as (I quote) "Saint Stefan", he is so boring, he brings out the worst in Elena. I mean, both brothers have their good and their bad sides, but why can't Delena fans see that Stefan also has his good points?

I LOVE STEFAN.

The few genuinely hateful stefan comments came from DErs that mostly described Stefan like he was Damon and Damon like he was Stefan.

So i resigned myself to the idea that those people are hormonal and biased.

I never saw any mature TVD fans bashing stefan - even when they prefer DE (and even that preference was related more to their PERSONAL preference of Damon as a character than their dislike of Stefan or SE).

Because he's good. Not as a lover he's good as a friend (Staroline), brother (Stefan/Damon) and when he helps people (Bonnie in 1X11). That's true he's an evil side, but he always tries fihht againts it 8except after he became a vampire and now) and Damon tries to be a good guy, but he never be as good as Stefan.

Why would anyone want to hate Stefan? :O

they all love damon becasue he is funny and stefan hasnt got as much humor in my opinion sfan is much better than damon in looks and personality stelena ar just so perfect delena are a stupid fantasy and evryone says oh i am 100% sure endgame si delena well i disagree becasue elena will always love stefan so alot of people are going to b disapointed at the end of season 3 becasue as a die hard stelena fan i know they will be endgame.
