They're the same person! would be my frst crazy theory but it's probably because well, they didn't really have much to do with each other, I mean Ruby was there to manipulate Sam and Bella's only conection to Lilith was that she made the deal maybe they didn't even know the other was working for Lilith. Though now that I think about it it does make me wonder why Ruby fixed the colt for Sam and Dean but Bella had to steal it. I guess it could be because Ruby only did that so Sam would trust her and Bella had to get it back so Dean and Sam wouldn't think Ruby did it and that's why they never were in a scene together if they were, Sam and Dean maybe would have suspected something.

I like your imagination I don't think I agree with your theory but I like a lot people with great imagination!
I'm not even sure I agree with my theory lol I tend to go of on things a little and end up on the least likely side of the answer but it's the best I got:)
Playing Devil's Advocate, if Ruby kicked Bella's bum it would have put her in better standing with Dean (who couldn't stand either woman, especially Bella). The toon could have gone a whole new direction, possibly still ending with her death. Of course Ruby had to be using the boys, "you can't trust Demon's", to quote Dean.
