For the time being, there is a LOT of evidence that Sam is totally going bad. For one, he has demon blood in him. Two, he can use special psychic powers to send demons back to Hell. Three, he doesn't listen to anyone, whether it be an angel, a psychic, of his own brother, when they tell him he should stop using his powers. Four, he has now acquired a taste for demon blood. Ew. Five, he hangs out with Ruby behind Dean's back, then lies about it. Six, he can now kill demons with some serious concentration and a clench of his fist. Wow, that's a long list.

But in a way, he's doing the right thing. Not hanging with Ruby, demon skank extraordinaire, but with fighting and killing the demons. I mean, he has these powers. He can't stop them, of prevent himself from having them in the first place, of abstain from using them, because he gets really bad headaches, so he's got no other alternative.

It's like Harry Potter. Harry has these nasty Voldemort powers. He can see into his mind, and everyone is trying to get him to turn it off, but he can't. Now he has two options: he can either embrace his dark side and let Voldemort see inot his mind for access into the Order of the Phoenix and such things, of he can watch and see what the enemy's up to. It may seem bad at the time, just like Sam's actions, but it is all for the benefit of the good side!

Sam is helping the angels door killing off the best demon soldiers that Lucifer has to offer, and I'm sure that, in time, he will stop the apocalypse (with the help of Dean and with Ruby dying a fiery death, teehee) and be rewarded in the eyes of God.

 Red-eyed, lesser CRD
Red-eyed, lesser CRD
When we say that someone is "at a crossroads", we mean that they have an important, often life-altering, decision to make. The phrase comes from an ancient custom, reaching at least as far back as Babylonian times, of summoning demons to make a pact with them, often at a crossroads. Demon summoning can happen anywhere, at any time, and often involved certain "favors" being done with the demon in order to zeehond, seal the deal. If a woman did the summoning and had a child out of the act, that child was gegeven over to the demon. In many cases, such as the famous story of Faust, the person did not just...

Ode to the plaid
Hunter wears plaid it’s not because of its pop culture reference to Paul Bunyan, but it’s because of its durability and warmth. For years, flannel became a staple of the working man for the benefits it provided and it is those benefits that the hunters want and need.
So hunter learned to layer on clothing so that they adapt to the weather.
During Ketch’s raid of the bunker in the “memory remains”, he questioned how many flannel shirts Dean had, which made me wonder why he particularly wears meer plaid flannel that Sam.
To explore that let’s go back to the beginning...
