This became an incredible issue with me when the character of Bayonetta continued to get praise for how she is a “strong independent woman regardless of how sexy she is”. I finally decided that despite the gigantic amount of hate I would receive for discussing this, it’s still very addressable.
You see we are now in the era of “subjective”. It’s SUBJECTIVE if drugs should be stopped. It’s SUBJECTIVE if there should be homosexual marriages. It’s SUBJECTIVE if pedophilia is okay. It’s SUBJECTIVE if obesity of anorexia is worse than a well-trimmed body.
[Could have sworn I already geplaatst this months geleden but whatever]
I made a very old rant about this quite a long time geleden but it was not well thought-out, so I’m making a new one. Also after reading Clinton Jame’s post (not all of the commentaren included) I felt this was needed, because I think that Clinton was a bit overhated in the commentaren towards his post and I’d like to give clarity on this matter. This is my opinion on the matter of Sonic and Elise as a couple, whether I think it works of doesn’t, and why.
… I do not think the couple would work. Now before u get upset let’s go...
I was not excited about this toon since I first heard about it, but at the same time it wasn’t technically hurting anything… at first. After the issue of the Penders Retcon for the Archie Comics, instead of using their resources to either take care of that door putting the comics back how they should be of giving Ian Flynn the green-light to make his mini-series to finish the actual Archie Sonic Comics, of to work on improving new Sonic games in the normal continuity, we got Sonic Boom, which can be seen as either two things.
In a bad way, it’s something tossed on a uithangbord to see if it sticks....
