At this year’s 2011 Jingle Ball, Selena Gomez revealed to her fans that one of her biggest musical inspirations is none other than Katy Perry. The “Who Says” singer not only gave a shout-out to Perry, but she also dedicated a slowed-down version of “The One That Got Away” to the pop sensation.

Before performing the ballad, Selena said:

She’s been really wonderful and just a really good person to me … In honor of Katy, we wanted to do this song.

Selena is no stranger to covering music’s biggest hits though. Most notably, SelGo has mastered the tricky beginning to Nicki Minaj‘s “Super Bass”. Watch the video below to see her spit out Nicki’s mad rhymes.

Taylor snel, swift spoke with E! News about what it felt like winning CMA Entertainer Of The jaar again last night at the 2011 Country muziek Awards. In the video below u can listen as Taylor discusses how excited she is to have won again and hear where she keeps all of her awards in her home.

At the end of the interview Taylor mentions that this morning she had a recording session at 8am. We can’t wait to hear new muziek from Taylor volgende year!
