Tessa Virtue feels so good about the present and future that she, her partner and their coaches don’t want to dwell on the past.

So it hasn’t been public knowledge that one-half of the first Olympic ice dance gold-medal team was in complete agony, yet again, after she and Scott Moir finished seconde at the World Championships last spring.
