With only twenty four hours left before school, Gumball and Darwin begin thinking up of things they could do before having to go to school. Unfortunately, every game they come up with is turned down because they have played them too many times. They decided to play their own made up game, Dodge of Dare, but got bored of it just as they started playing. They begin to wonder what caused these games to be boring when suddenly Gumball states that maybe it is not the games that are boring, but that instead they are bored of each other. They freak out for a moment, and began thinking of a solution....

The episode begins with Tobias, Alan, Jamie, banaan Joe, and Tina playing soccer at school while Bobert sits on a nearby bench. After a few kicks back and forth, the ball hits him, so Tobias asks him to kick it back. Bobert overdoes it and kicks it all the way to the sun, prompting the kids to insult him and leave. Bobert hangs his head and sadly walks away.

Gumball is a light blue cat. On his oversized head, he has six whiskers but most of the time only five are visible because his head is always shown at an angle. He usually wears grey trousers coupled with a tan sweater which with brown cuffs and a brown collar. Like his mother and father, Gumball doesn't wear shoes, and is the only member of the Wattersons without visible eyelashes, although in some episode he is seen with visible eyelashes, like in The Refund. Gumball is getting bored and annoyed at how his new lucky hat allows him to succeed at everything he does. Even though he has been using it for a week, his family is unaware of its power. He demonstrates the luck at the dining tafel, tabel door catapulting a clump of his food in the air. Through an extremely lucky chain of events, Richard's food gets launched directly into Gumball's mouth. Everyone at the tafel, tabel gasps in awe, except for Gumball, who just looks bored. One morning Gumball wakes up, and decides to cover himself in ice cubes. He tries to glide down the stairs with Darwin, but they fail and land right in front of Anais naked. Anais tells Gumball that he cannot go to school naked, so he tries to find his clothes. Gumball soon finds Richard asleep in the garden. Richard tells Gumball that he was doing the laundry when Nicole told him not to do so. Gumball's clothes have shrunk and they no longer fit him, forcing Gumball to wear Nicole's wedding dress to school. The episode starts with the Wattersons visiting Elmore Junior High on a Saturday. Gumball asks why they are there, so Richard excitedly explains that Saturday is club day. He happily rushes off to his Fantasy Club and leaves Gumball with Nicole.
Gumball asks his mother if he could kom bij her club, but she explains that she becomes a different person when she is in her Anger Management Club. Mr. Small, who is apparently president of the club, greets her, but she suddenly lashes out at him for no reason and sends him flying through the door, knocking him unconscious.

Gumball and Darwin come up to him, complaining that they don't feel like going to school today. Richard tells them that they must go to school anyways because they're still kids and they have no control over their lives. Richard hands them what is apparently their cereal box while Gumball and Darwin dreamily describe what they'd do if they were men.
