I've seen it! I LOVED it!! I thought they did an amazing job with it. Aaron Johnson played John Lennon very well and most things were accurate. The songs, the looks, the characters, everything was very well done.
I saw it, I liked it. It wasn't great. They got the looks just right. The scene where they're on stage at the festival, the Cavern, etc., was all dead on. But I think they portrayed his relationship with Julia strangely. Sometimes they almost acted like lovers. It was a bit odd. I thought the actor did a pretty good job of matching his voice and I really liked "Inspite of All the Danger" at the end. They got most of the facts straight, but I figured they would go further with the story, like when they actually formed the Beatles. Overall, I would watch it again, and I would reccomend it to a Beatles fan, but probably not to someone who didn't know much about John Lennon of the Beatles.
I've seen it. I liked it. I thought they did a good job of portraying John Lennon's personality. I thought the actors playing Paul and George were great as well, but I don't think those two looked like their real life counterparts much. I thought their version of "In Spite of All the Danger" was amazing, it sounds exactly like the really early version that the Beatles (or the Quarrymen) recorded way back in the day. I thought the movie portrayed his relationships both with his aunt Mimi and Julia very well. I wish they didn't end it right when they were about to leave for Hamburg, I thought they would've continued until the Beatles started to get really popular.
