I've been on Fanpop for coming onto 4 years now and I haven't quite found the time to write an artikel but this little idea was floating in my head since I woke up and I decided to share it over here...
Now when we all were growing up, in school, there were always cliques. The populair sportsmen, the pretty populair girls, the drama/artistic thespians in the making and then there were the science nerds.
Now I for one, belong to the very last group and even though school was miserable, and I was shunned, I actually do not regret one minuut of who I am, because being a science nerd has allowed me to hone my observation skills which has led me to writing this artikel as to why I feel even though nerds were not considered "cool", if we set our hart-, hart to it, we could get the girl/guy of our dreams.
This toon has brought nerds and science geeks, to the forefront of cool. Suddenly experiments have become almost as interesting and captivating as magic. Lasers are much meer than for making u dizzy at nightclubs and being tech-savvy these days allows u to multi-task at an incredible rate.
This brings me to my point on why nerds make the best lovers. For one thing, in order to do what we love, we have to be detailed and precise in every way. A kiss could be just a kiss, but if one had put some thought and effort and detail into the meaning behind the kiss, an ordinary kiss can turn into a literally exothermic moment, where heat is just released and sparks begin to fly.
Anyone can buy a girl flowers, but it takes someone special to perhaps maybe find 2 flowers she would like and then find some way to create a hybrid of the 2, thereby creating a bloem that is totally unique. Leonard's preservation of a snowflake is an excellent example of this. Not many people would have the romantic creativity and thought process to come up with such an idea, and as a guy I've seen women get blown away with such small details like these that set us nerds apart from everyone else.
Astronomy buffs, take your datum to the top, boven of a heuvel of even the strand at night, lay out a blanket, throw in some champagne, and take her hand and begin to trace out the constellations to her. Sure in your head u might think that she might be bored, but knowledge is never boring if it is done with love and passion.
So to every single science geek out there, who is probably doodling the name of his crush on a paper of on his desk, rise up, embrace your gifts that set u apart, use them, to create something unique, something special, something only u would be able to and go out there and toon it to your crush. Weirdness is NOT a stigma, being weird and being awkward means that we see things other people don't :)
With love, a fellow TBBT fan :D
