'Legends of Tomorrow' Star Shares Spinoff Details, Confirms 'Flash' Return

Victor Garber says he and Robbie Amell will appear together in the season two premiere.

Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein) is ready for more of the CW superhero universe. 

The veteran actor, already cast as half of Firestorm in the 

.  He will be teamed with Robbie Amell, the DC Comics character Ronnie Raymond and the other half of Firestorm in the season two premiere.

"Robbie and I will be joined on the first episode of the (next) season of

, and then we'll see what happens," Garber said. That leaves Amell not joining CW's

universe as a series regular, though he's expected to make an appearance.

ordered and to debut as part of the network's 2016 mid-season lineup. "They (CW) aren't going to introduce a limited series. This isn't HBO. They want the Full Monty," Garber said.

"That's going to be fun of it. We're all these characters put together and we will see how we all function and try to do something together," Garber explained. He adds the best part is playing a superhero without wearing an uncomfortable rubber suit and spending hours in makeup daily.

"That's the best part. I just talked to [NBC's

s heavily-tattooed lead character] Jaimie Alexander. She's gorgeous, but she has to sit for seven hours to do the makeup. That's my worst nightmare," Garber said. He added, as an older actor, he isn't expected to show up on set in spandex and a cape.

"Nobody wants to see that, especially me," Garber insisted.
