do u think they are going to make a part 2

I would love if they did do a sequel but I think it's not likely due to the controversial nature of the seconde and third boeken in the series. Even before the Golden Compass came out people told me not to go see it because it was pro-atheist and that they were going to boycott it, and this is from religious people who liked films like Harry Potter. I guess magic and wizards are one thing but openly atheist stories for kids make a lot of parents nervous, especially in the U.S.
