I just loved her character. Why wasn't Sophia included?

Sophia was a supporting character on the Golden girls. the series is really about the three women as friends, sophia is a senior citizen she isn't in her golden years. most of the groups scenes are with the three leading women and if you watch the theme song most of the group photos are with the three women except for 1 group picture with Sophia included

She's me in the future. I suppose that's why she's my favorite.
