ok. here are some of the ideas i got off of the internet about the whole leo/ sammy valdez thing.
1.leo is sammys grandson on his moms side.
2.leo is sammy reborn from elysium.
3.sammy got stuck in the lotus casino and some how his name changed to leo.
4.leo slept for half a decde like percy did for eight months.
5. as sammy, leo changed his name as he moved around to keep hidden.
6. gaea created an illusion on hazel to make her think leo is sammy.
7.leo is sammys long lost brother.
8. sammy is hephestus in disguise.
9.sammy is a son of hephaestus that was never claimed and leo and him both have mothers from the same family
10.hephaestus loved leos mother so much that he granted her a longer life... in the forties and she is leo AND sammys mom.

angeldawna i am so excited for this book!!!! btw on october 2, everyone wear a purple or orange t-shirt. PERCY FANS UNITE!!!! and i was serious, i think nico really does die. also i think he leads the quest to greece.

NiazAbedini I'm sorry If I'm being buzz kill, But just wanna help with theories. I have to say I'm with the first one. Being reborn from Elysium is not likely. People's name and face changes during that. And we'll just have to wait and see for the rest.

Blaze_of_Ares #1 why? cause Leo can't be a reborn of Sammy cause Sam is no DG( Demigod ) yeah yeah some demigods were never claimed but even if he had been claim, what did Sam do to achieve rebirth? One must do something heroic or whatever to achieve reborn and Sam died of a heart attack. If you still don't know, just kill yourself and before they take your memory look for Sammy XD just kidding..

I was walking along the beach, thinking about Percy, Gods! I was missing him so much, I looked at the last thing me and Percy did together. We wrote our names in the sand, like this:

He rushed the water over the writing and made a 'water barrier' so it was there forever, it was like cement. Seriously, I tried to kick it 8 months ago, because I was angry Percy just disappeared like he did.
My thoughts were interrupted door a girl, around 15 years old, bleeding at the hip, stagger up to me...

They should have died three days geleden when he dropped a krat of bowling balls on them at the Napa Bargain Mart. They should have died two days geleden when he ran over them with a police car in Martinez. They definitely should have died this morning when he cut off their heads in Tilden Park.
No matter how many times Percy killed them and watched them crumble to powder, they just kept re-forming...
