Ok, guys, I'm tired of the endless rants about Jason's immortal parent! No really, I'm sick of it, I just tossed my koekjes, cookies because of it...seriously! Ok, so I exxageratted, everybody does it, but back on topic. Jason's parents. I'm assuming, and it's just a hunch so don't shoot me, that his immortal parent is his dad. Don't ask me why, it's just the way I roll, I go with the messages I get subconciously. It seems that everyone has chosen sides, and they are dead set with their picks. Although there are others, three gods have been mentioned. Are u ready to pick your side?
Pick number one: Zeus
So, this has been the first pick from the get-go. First off, he survived a lightning strike. I'll admit, that's a big chunk of fresh evidence! People also think that because Zeus ruled the sky and Jason can fly, that it means Jason has to belong to him. Bull, I say. I don't remember any of Zeus' multitude of children having the power of flight. The last is a bit silly. Some believe that since Jason appears to be a main character that he has to be a son of one of the Big Three. Who says? Isn't this series supposed to be a little meer focused on the minor deities?
Pick number 2: Aeolus
Aeolus is the God presiding over and keeping the winds. Well it would explain Jason's ability to fly and his connnection to the Anemoi Thuellai (Venti in Roman). I think, though, that there is a better choice.
Pick number three: Boreus
Boreus is the North Wind. This one is the most plausible to me. Why, u ask? Well, first off in the myth "Jason and the Argonauts", the titel character ("our" Jason's namesake) lost his shoe. Remind u of anything? If it doesn't link. seconde off, there were some characters in the above mentioned myth that could fly. Guess who their daddy is? My last bit of evidence: Being a child of the North Wind would definately explain why he knew who the Anemoi Thuellai were.
Well the choices have been laid out for you, so which side will u pick? Are u a follower of Zeus, a fan of Aeolus, of a believer in Boreus? There is clearly a War of the Daddy's raging, but only time will tell. The answer to this big vraag and many others will land in our laps on October 12 (in the U.S.). Will u be ready?
