My hart-, hart raced and felt like it was trying to eat itself. The barking and screaming from the dogs, Jason, and Leo faded behind me as sweat rippled down my face. Jeez, hope they're not dead. But Jason promised to keep them from danger, then started performing something that really could've scarred me.
This is the story of our trip to Mexico.
(Three days ago)
I was excited. This opportunity never really happens to a demigod! Three sweet days for a free vacation? Fine door me!
Long story short: I asked Chiron if Jason, Leo, and I could take a break. We'd been everyone's go-to for the last month...
Rated: K+ (I think. No cussing, of adult themes) Type: Fanfic Sypnosis: What happens after Percy and Annabeth go well down to the depths of Tartarus.
I wrote this because I craved knowledge and as we all know ppl who obsess over boeken use fanfiction to make the time pass better! So yeah...Previously located on the House of Hades club, but I realized how empty that place is (14 fans) and I need some feedback. First time I've ever really geplaatst some fanfic so yay.
When she opened her eyes everything around her was dark. Pitch black, she couldn’t even see her hand...
Heyo! Since Phoenix went through all the trouble to find the old rules (I had to find this again...) and he was right about the question: When can spoilers be geplaatst on the club of something (I forget the question, but Phoenix knows all, and sees all! -Not like a stalker-) So I figured it's been a while since people have looked at this.
So here we go again. Please try to follow these rules. THANKSH GUIUZZZZZ :DDD
Disclaimer: These epic rules were made door Amphitrite and Hecate A.
1. Chapter stories should go in the forum. Short stories (one chapter stories/one shots) go in the...
Some critical points in the development of Rick Riordan's manipulative writing style are easily apparent in the Mark of Athena. The majority of the plot consistently backs up my past theories, (see my artikel Rick Riordan) and manages to suggest that Rick holds even meer control over his readers minds than I had ever imagined.
Strategies Used To Keep Readers On Their Toes:
1. Increase in tension between characters
2. Added complications to plot
3. Withholding information for future surprises
5. Frustrating moments and characters to give the reader a stronger emotional standing
OK so, I see everyone preparing themselves for someoone (mainly Annabeth) to die in MOA but...
Who zei Rick is going to make it happen? How do we know that Mark Of Athena hasn't ALREADY happened? Maybe it's like what one of Franks ansorcters did? He was blamed for something that he did not do. And we saw in the chapter prv. that when Annabeth was talking to the statue he said:
"Oh, we know all about THAT goddess!"
Maybe Athena did something to the Romans long ago? And so her name needs cleared? How do we know that Mark Of Athena meens someone, mainly Annabeth, will die? Maybe Annabeth being...
Okay, so I did kinda like Jason at first, but in MoA, he really irritated me. Let me tell u why.
Exhibit A: Setting: New Rome, Senate House. Situation: Our very bright Jason decides to ask Reyna if he can toon his girlfriend around the city. My thoughts: WAY TO GO, SMART ONE. That’s a great way to say hello to your almost-girlfriend/fellow praetor u haven’t seen in months. WE GOT A GENIUS OVER HERE.
Exhibit B: Setting: The Argo II. Situation: Making promises to Piper. My thoughts: Seriously? –facepalm- The last line of that prophecy was, An oath...
My name is Octavian. I'm eighteen, and I'm Camp Jupiter's augur. Which means I cut up useless teddy bears and read the will of the gods. I'm scrawny and pale; and a descendant of Apollo.
I sighed as I walked into Jupiter's Temple, ready to murder the teddy bears that must have nightmares about me. of so the rumors say.
I grumbled, not in a very good mood as I grabbed some random roze teddy bear. u see, I don't just read the messages from the Roman gods in the stuffing of innocent bears; they talk to me. And I am not going crazy. Almost all the augurs have that kinda power. Anyway, just...
