Spikegilfer1997 Again, Sally and Poseidon are still alive, Lily and James cannot claim the same thing, I'd think that Harry would understand as his entire life after October 31st 1980 was shaped by the prophecy whereas Percy may have not even been the one. Also, consider that Aphrodite is the oldest among the Olympians and how awful it would've been if the prophecy referred to her children. Additionally Percy's canon date of birth is in 1993 whereas Harry's is in 1980.

FantasyLover543 Um.......wait. Yeah ok. First thing, Spike is that it's a joke( hope you know what a joke is). It doesn't imply that Percy is more um....heroic? than harry or that he has had a more tragic past or anything. That's how Viria pictured it and I don't she meant anything like that either. Personally, I think Harry would be more mature than Percy( and not only because of the age difference). It's true that Harry has had it worse than Percy but it's also true that Percy's um.......career? as a monster-killer is more impressive. If I had drawn this picture, it would be Percy who would be stating the obvious and Harry would be like 'been there, done that'. But I didn't so we would have to put up with it. Second, is Harry's birth year really 1980? Sorry I'm not that much into Harry Potter(I like it but I'm not obsessed with it) so I didn't know. I even didn't know that Percy's birth year is 1993. So thanks for making me aware of this fact. Third, it would have been so much fun if it was a child of Aphrodite in the prophecy!!! But apparently, as Percy is the protagonist of the story it's only natural that he should be the 'Hero of the Prophecy'. Besides I think Rick likes his 'hero' too much as he put all the other characters out of the way to make sure his protagonist stays in the limelight( Nico was too young and Thalia was made a Huntress). So of course he wouldn't EVER have let a child of Aphrodite spoil it all by being eligible for the quest.
