The Host Vraag

I was reding The Host for the 4th time and I read that Ian was sitting on a hot zitplaats, stoel door the oven when Wanda was giving her lessons. I was wondering why he would sit there. I don't think the book gives an answer. Please Help!! Thanks!! :D xx

I agree. I think Ina was sitting there to protect her incase any trouble rose up. And who knows? Maybe he just likes sitting in warm spots. :D
