The Hunger Games Movie Vraag

Does it bother u that people aren't talking about the serious issues that the hunger games deal with such as hunger and how far we as human beings will go to be entertained?

Well, I for one think that it's not distant from the possible scenarios that can happen in the future.

Yes, it does. I'm fine with discussing little topics of the Hunger Games, but.. if they could branch it out to the main issue it holds every once in awhile would be nice. The most I see is the discussion of romances- which, ironically, was what the Capitol people were the most interested in other than the violence.

It's just.. the proof, right there. I'm not saying it's wrong to be invested in that sort of thing, due to us having different tastes, but when a series hits a form of reality in this way.. it deserves to be further discussed. The human nature and harsh reality of a possible future is what I personally find the most captivating.

I really hope it will be discussed meer here, rather than the constant "Team Gale" "Team Peeta" debate. (Like I said, it's fine if u like that sort of thing- the Hunger Games has a little something for a majority of people to get interested in.)
