Is there really a movie coming out 2011 based on the book?

On imdb.com there's a movie called the Hunger Games but I've heard doubts about it having nothing to do with the book.

interesting perspective...but Twilight made milions of dollars, and the lead actors were recognized for their talent. Have some hope in the moviemakers; they will listen to the fans and Suzanne will make sure the right actors are picked.

I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure I copy and pasted from IMDb. and I was right that it ruined a perfectly good book as well. especially for my friend Rue looked like her cousin De and it ruined the whole boeken for her.
