I'm not so sure, who to pick for Katniss. But, if I was her I would go for Peeta.
Now that I think about it... Peeta all the way ! :)

after reading Ctaching Fire I say Gale. Peeta has "turned his back" anyway! PLus. Gale addmitted tp liking her! So, there ya go!

Gale is a great guy, and their bond can't be denied, but Peeta loves her so much that she is the absolute world to him. She's his everything and whatever makes her happy (short of letting herself die or get hurt) makes him happy. Again, before I go on about Gale, I think he's a great great guy; but, while he deeply cares and loves Katniss, it's just not to the extreme Peeta does (in my opinion of course). Example...don't read if you have not read Catching Fire...when Katniss wanted to run away, Gale chose the revolution over her. Admirable, very much so, but when you compare it to Peeta's "follow you wherever you go" answer, sort of fell short in the romance sense. If so facto, visa vi, etc...I choose Peeta for Katniss...but who knows xb

Peeta reminds me too much of a golden retriever. Gale's a badass.

peeta would follow katniss anywhere cuz he luvs her, but gale only cares for himself. I wou8ld've choose peeta the second he was introduced in the book . Then again who ever i pck for the girl always loses (ex. I'm STILL on team Jacob)

Gale is so like Katniss and Peeta is like distant from what Katniss really is. Sure they were in the Hunger Games together but Gale knows Katniss like he knows the back of his hand. He knows when something something is wrong with Katniss and knows how to fix it. Peeta is like a security blanket. Hes only good for a few things. In my opinon Katniss should choose Gale over Peeta because of thier personalitys.

I love both peete and gale but i chose peeta because his just so sweet and caring.Peeta loves Katniss so much that he cant live with out her.And plus i think that that katniss really has love for petta to.Thats my opinion.

Gale is more of a brother to Katniss. I think that Gale will always love Katniss, but like a sister. While Peeta will do what ever it takes to get kaniss to love him. Plus Katniss is hot headed, she needs someonr who Can calm her down. Gale is to much like her.

I always go for the underdog or best friend in books, but this time, I had to pick Peeta. He is just so amazing and truly loves Katniss. I had a hard time picking but by the end of book 1, I was all Peeta.

I prefer Gale, but like it said in the last chapter Peeta's just better for her. I'm dissapointed things ended on such bad terms with Gale tho. Just coz he wasn't husband (?) material doesn't mean they could't have stayed besties. He shoulda been Uncle Gale to their kids.

I don't get why but I just luv Katniss and Gale! I especially love the way they always hang out and how he teases her. It'll be okay if she ends up with Peeta cause he is a great guy and shows affection for her. But, I'm still rooting for Katniss and Gale!

I think Peeta is amazing, and a perfect match for Katniss. Gale is more like a brother to her, and besides that, he's just kind of... meh.

I think that peeta sounds like the complete package he has looks,he is sweet,he's loyal,and comforting, but still stern when he needs to be. gale is awesome too but he turned into a complete jerk in mockingjay. sorry gale ppls but i just ADORE peeta!<3
