how do u get past the begining part in lord jabujabu's mouth with no slingshot ammo?

Have your shield ready and wait for one of those purple octopuses to surface. When it fires a nut, use Z-targeting on Lord Jabu Jabu's uvula. The nut will fly up there and open up the "closed door".
