It would have been nice to see one of their kids to inherit their mother's eye color since Kiara has brown eyes like Simba. Not to mention,there isn't a lion with blue eyes yet.

I'm a sucker for blue eyes, so yeah.

Nala actually has green eyes (in the original film anyway - a lot of colours changed on a lot of characters after that!) but they look blue under certain lighting. Out of these choices though, I think the brown eyes suit him. :) A lighter shade of blue eyes might be nice too though!

It would of been nice to see a trait of Nala's get obvious recognition, because Simba's gene I don't think is THAT powerful.

Yeah,exactly. They should have given him SOMETHING from Nala. Because both kids look too much like Simba! ^^^

Since Kiara has Simba's eyes, it would be cool that Kion was born with Nala's eyes so that both cubs look more different instead of having the same eye color.

@Lackson4ever85, Kion is Simba and Nala's 2nd born cub that appears in a new TV film and TV show called The Lion Guard that's coming out in Nov 2015 and Jan 2016.

Looks unique in a way, because why shouldn't it be 50/50. Eh?

Not that dark shade, though.

Asothers have stated it would have been nice to see some Nala in one of the cubs.
But also, it would have made him more unique. Now he looks more like what Mufasa may have looked like as a cub. Granted that is also why I like his design as is.
