Darry and Dally looked at (Y/N) from the couch. She was talking with Soda on the front porch, smiling, laughing at what he said. They both thought u had a beautiful laugh, and that u were completely adorable.
Darry was jealous of Soda, he thought he could take better care of you, provide a better life.
Dally thought he could protect u more, and love u better.
Their hearts both broke as Soda leaned down to kiss you.

u groan and turn over. u had the flu. u were really sore,tired, and cold. u thought nothing could make u feel better.
“Hey, (Y/N), u hungry?” Your boyfriend Soda asks from the doorway.
u shake your head. “I’m just cold.” u sniffle.
“Well that can be fixed.” He says smiling.
He gets onto the bed, and snuggles close to you, and puts all the blankets on top, boven of you.
“Soda, you’re gonna get sick and…”
“I don’t care… All I care about is you, and that you’re gonna feel better.”
The cars zoomed by.
“This makes me so nervous.” u say.
“Why?” Soda asks, smiling.
“What if the cars blow up, and we die? of what if they crash? Or-“
“Hey it’s going to be fine,” He interrupts you. “Have some popcorn.”
“But what if I’m eating popcorn and the cars blow up and we die?”
“Then I’ll blow up and die eating popcorn with the girl I love.”
And he kisses u on the lips.
“Darry, how do u feel about kids?” u ask.
“About having kids?” He asked. u were nervous.
“Yeah.”
“I’ve never told anyone this really… But it’s been my goal in life to be a better father figure than I ever was to Soda of Ponyboy… I thought I did a good job, but I know I could’ve done better.” He scratches his neck. “So yeah I’d want to have kids.”
“Well that’s good.” u smile.
“Why?” He asks. “You aren’t…” He starts, but then looks at you. “You are aren’t you?” His smile lights up the whole room.
u nod your head. He picks u up in a big beer hug.
“Daddy, do I look ok?” Grace asks. I put down my newspaper to look at my 15 jaar old daughter. Wow.
“You look beautiful, sweetheart.” It pained me to see her going on her first date. But I was smiling.
“I’ll be good, Daddy, I promise.”
I grin. Exactly what her mother zei to her dad on our first date.
“I know.” I manage to say. “You’re a good kid.”
“Not like Faith,” Grace grins. Oh my Faith. Nine years old and already had a “boyfriend”. She was completely hilarious.
“Not like Faith.” I smile.
I get up off the divan, bank to give her a hug.
“I love u Daddy.”
“Love u too, sweetheart.”
“You’re still going to be the first boy I fell in love with.”
