For all of them I would say, Stefan isn't that strong mentally at all. He gives into his urges a little to easily in certain situations. Damon doesn't ever have a problem being strong. he is a very strong person. He is strong mentally in some ways. He is very weak in the way that when something bad happens he tends to freak and just snap. But in any other situation I would want to be around him in a crisis he doesn't freak out easily. Elena never freaks out. She is very strong. Even when she is scared or in pain she is always strong.

SHes definatly stronger, she carrys Stefan and Damon.. She can handle the hole vampire thing, very well I must say, and she keeps going after so much suffering, hard times and losts of people she loved..

Elena, most definently. Damon and Stefan both have issues, though I would say Damon has the worst end of it. Good grief! To be told that "It will always be Stefan" in one day by women he loved so much. Ouch. To be rejected over and over again :(

Damon had and still has a hard life but yet he manages everything somehow and vampires feel everything much stronger han humans so i would say Damon's stronger than Elena.i didn't even think of Stefan.hell i LOVE Stefan he is my favourite character in the show but let's face it:mentally seems to be a really weak person.he can control himself (most of the time) but i have feeling he is really breakable inside.
