Klaus, rebekah, and kol are all bad news for her, so that was reasonable. The writing was terrible i mean in season 1 we all knew Caroline and Elena where not close.For them to is was more like a competition to see who can be the best. I mean everyone says something once in a while but never really mean it . The only thing I could possibility say I didn't like about Elena was that she tried to have Stefan kiss her . If she cares about Damon . she wouldn't have dare tried to hurt him by kissing Stefan . Though on the other hand , I kind of wanted it to happen because I was so sick of how Stefan was acting that night . I hate Meredith because she wants her family dead. Honestly , I don't know what would happen if Klaus/Elijah were out of my life . They're my favorite originals . 	NateHeartSerena picked Elena: I love Elena. But wow. After everything Damon has done to help her. After how much he has grown thanks to her influence. After how much he opened up after she wanted him to care and feel more. After how much she punished him for the Jeremy Neck Snapping Incident (yet has seemingly forgiven Stefan for almost driving her off a bridge where her parents died and turning her). After all that... Elena turns around and arranges for Damon's own brother to snap Damon's neck and then throws his declaration of love back in his face by claiming it to be a problem that he cares to deeply for her. REALLY?!?! It just makes NO SENSE. I mean, when Damon did all those horrible things (snapping Jeremy's neck, making her feed on his blood) she didn't forgive him right away, she made him earn for her forgiveness. But now she just seemingly forgives Stefan without a reason, after all the things he's done and said, after he almost drove her off the bridge her parents died and fed her his blood even though he knew how she felt about becoming a vampire and how she reacted after Damon did it to her.
