Every single person on the internet seems to have a thoroughly fleshed out theory on who died in the closing moments of
From Glenn, to Abraham, to Daryl, to Rosita - there\'s "hard evidence" to support every single theory. From now on, we\'re going to flesh out each one of those theories each day and let you decide which is most concrete.
The most solid reasoning behind theories of Negan killing Aaron is in Negan\'s body language in dialogue. As he delivered the line, "Cut the boys other eye out and feed it to his father," he motioned to both sides, which would indicate he was standing between Rick and Carl.
If Negan was, in fact, standing between Negan and Carl while addressing his victim, that would mean the only options are Aaron and Sasha. You better believe that if he had selected Sasha the proud, manly man Abraham would\'ve stepped in, but instead, he isn\'t even heard in the shroud of screams of terror. That leaves only Aaron as a potential victim.
Aaron\'s death is one that not only Rick\'s group would rally behind but all of Alexandria. Most of the people in the Safe-Zone would brought there by Aaron\'s recruiting. He is everybody\'s friend and his loss would be truly devastating.
Killing Aaron also keeps some of the more heavy hitters around for the war. Abraham, Daryl, Glenn, Michonne, Rosita, Sasha and Rick will most certainly all play crucial roles in defeating the Saviors. Aaron doesn\'t have much experience fighting, so taking him out her rather than one of the skilled fighters leaves room for the war to be more balanced.

Amazing how much mileage one can get from a mediocre tv show.
And yet, here you are, reading the story with so much disdain.
Aaron\'s loss would be truly devastating? No it wouldn\'t. Nobody gives a toss about Aaron. He\'s a blatant fall guy, cannon fodder - filling for the cast. Only pops up now and then. To imagine fans around the world holding their heads in despair because Aaron get his brains splattered is ludicrous. The reaction will be more like "we waited 6 months to find it was that pointless ponce?"
I don\'t agree with the reasoning behind this theory. At the time he delivered the "eyeball" line, I felt like Negan was talking to his Saviors, so it wouldn\'t matter who was between who.
