Here are three very cool things Tim Schafer did that I really appreciate. In no particular order...

1. He co-created Day of the Tentacle
I wasn't one of the lucky people who experienced Day of the Tentacle back when it was first released; I played it for my very first time in 1999, when I had just started secondary school. At that point in my life, I was old enough to be able to appreciate good character designs, well written dialogue, and clever concepts. The first LucasArts graphic adventure game to use the SCUMM Engine. Tim was one of the people who helped to develop SCUMM (the "Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion"). He would later go on to co-create the game's sequel.
