PROLOGUE: An older gray haired man entered, and immediately all eyes went on him. He was almost never here, but he was the most famous man in the building. Everybody knew he was here for one thing, and would never stop until he got it. He was a dangerous man, and there was only one force strong enough to stop him alone.

PART TWO:

The elevator dings, and immediately Eli starts for his daughter. Unfortunately, 7 of her best vrienden form an invisible bubble of manpower around her, deflecting his advance toward MTAC.

"Sorry, Eli. You're needed elsewhere," McGee says, rather bravely, considering he was a probie still.

"It seems that your country actually needs to know u got here, although i don't see why they would care," Tony informed, not able to resist the sarcasm that is his trademark.

"I guess it COULD turn into an international incident if we didn't let u go," Gibbs reasoned,

"And i might brand him for it." Vance concluded.

"Oh, but wait. The fun doesn't stop there!" Abby cheered. "After that, I get to test all of your clothes for any chemical i deem necessary. And my case load right now is really light, and i'm really bored and lonely down in Abbyville.. So, it'll probably be every chemical known to man!!!" Abby beamed.

"And I will be lending u some scrubs. Then, I will need a full body exam, internal and external. Those trans-continental flights are just filled with germs. I shudder at the thought." Ducky said.

"And since I'm still new, and I've never participated in one of these," Palmer lied, "I need to take long, detailed notes. And maybe even participate. Right, doctor?"

"Yes, Mr. Palmer. That would be best for your experience."

"So u won't be able to talk to Ms. David until the hearing." Vance said.

"Or, ever. Unless she wants to," McGee said.

"So, never." Gibbs and DiNozzo zei in unison.

Before he could even get a word in edgewise, McGee, Vance, DiNozzo, and Gibbs wisked him away up to MTAC. Ziva just sat there, an indescribable pride and love filled her, and she knew she had made the right decision.

"Don't worry, Z! We've got your back," Abby reassured her.

"But wait, I want to interrogate him. Off the record," Ziva stated.

"Well, i guess i can make an acception, based on the family ties, but it'll have to be later. We need to get a real interrogation done and find out why he's targeting you," Vance compromised.

"You're seriously wasting an interrogation room on the bastard? I could tell u that. I have, as a matter of fact. He's a brokenhearted old fool who would rather make a public scene than apologize to his daughter. Simple as that." Ziva ranted.

"Listen to her, Vance. u might actually get this one right," Gibbs smirks.

"Where is he?" Ziva inquired.

"Tony's preping him for interrogation," McGee says with a smile.

-----------------meanwhile------------------------

Eli is sitting there, somber as a priest during a funeral, bracing himself for what's to come. He's assuming Gibbs will want many pieces of him, but he is praying Ziva will come, he needs a chance to explain.

"Hey, Eli! Long time no chit-chat!"

Oh, crap. It's the arrogant child DiNozzo.

"I am aware," Eli shrugs.

"You don't look very happy to see me." DiNozzo observes.

"That is because i am not." Eli retorts.

"Now I see where Ziva gets her anti-contractions from. Now, that's a shame. Anyway, this reminds me of a movie."

"

"New action flick, it's Angelina Jolie, it's called Salt! Ever heard of it? It's about a girl who's convicted of betraying her country? Yeah. Her "father" ends up dying in the end. He vaguely looked like you, too! Strange coincidence, isn't it?" Tony wonders.

------------------REAL TIME NOW-------------------

"Do I have to remind u how i feel about those, DiNozzo?" Gibbs storms.

"Awh, boss! Time's up already?!" Tony said.

"Just get up!" Gibbs demands.

"Well, I can't say it's been fun," Tony mumbles as he leaves.

"At least, we agree on that," Eli considers.

"DiNozzo, out. Now!" Gibbs barks.

DiNozzo slams the door, and heads straight to observation.

"Intimidating does not suite you," Ziva comments.

"Hey, at least i try. A for effort, right?" Tony tries.

"Why would they give u an A when the word starts with an E?" Ziva inquires.

"Never mind," Tony backtracks. "Hey, look. Gibbs has your dad's mouth twitching already. How long's he been in there, like 2 minutes? That's a record!" Tony exclaims.

"I think he's ready for me," Ziva says, eyes shooting poison at the gray eyes staring back at her through the double-sided glass.

"My turn," Ziva whispers, her voice like an icy chill sending shivers down the men's spine, moving like a cat out to kill over to the steel table.

"Be my guest," Gibbs growls, slamming the door behind him.

"Why?" Ziva shouts.

"You know full well. u signed the contract. There was NO WAY u should even have a QUESTIONED why I am here. u signed on for TEN YEARS. u were to be an Isreali citizen, operating for Mossad through NCIS, for TEN WHOLE YEARS," Eli shouts, his voice rising and pounding on the table.

"Yes. I was. But, the contract ALSO states that i am only to be a citizen for FIVE years. After which I can make the choice," Ziva counters, her voice calm, steady, and eerily foreboding as the man towers over her, his shadow engulfing her.

"You lie." Eli states.

----------------OBSERVATION-----------------------

DiNozzo, who's enjoying this toon all too much, turns to Gibbs.

"Hey, boss? Ever imagine Ziva as a teenager? I wonder if she ever snuck out, partied, all that kinda stuff. Probably, since she WAS human. She also could have been like a female, isreali, kung-fu kid kinda chick, which....," he was cut off door a sharp, upward blow to his head.

"DiNozzo. Filter yourself," Gibbs reminded him.

"Of course, boss," Tony says, rather sheepishly.

--------------INTERROGATION ROOM------------------

"Face it. u have not been able to verplaats on and get over last summer. u have become soft. Weak. Spineless," Eli spits the words out like vermin.

"Soft? I was raped, beaten, and burned. Everywhere i turned in that place there was a man wanting to kill me. u didn't send help," Ziva pointed out with a level of ferocity that would make the joker curl up and cry.

"I thought u were dead," Eli countered.

"Yet u didn't feel the need to avenge for your only daughter?" Ziva questioned with a voice that mixed a level of grief that would have melted the tin man's hart-, hart and shock that would have electrified glass.

They were face to face, the chairs long since forgotten about.

"A waste of resources that would have been better spent trying to finish what u and Michael started," Eli tried.

"Go fry," Ziva spat. She turned on her heel, swung open the door and left without a backwards glace. She made a bee-line for the elevator, and walked out of the building.

Eli wasn't to be defeated door a few measly walls. He immediately whipped out his cell phone, had a hurried conversation in Arabic, and then got a self-satisfied smirk.

Ziva was running door now. Running from Eli. Running from the past. Running for no reason at all. Just, running. She knew Eli had a backup plan. He wouldn't travel all the US with just bodyguards. He would have hit teams. Sleepers. Anything. The moment she got her car, she popped the trunk. There, in the open space, were 25 packs of C4, and a timer that was dangerously flirting with 0:00.

ughh, mental block! 'night!
