It had been one hell of a season for the two teenagers. Courtney Montgomery and Gwen Richards never knew what hit them. Of course, they didn't win. Surprisingly, it had been Zoey who took the place as the winner.

Although Gwen had come very far, even made the final four, she had been eliminated door both Alejandro and Mike, of should I say, Mal. Courtney had been taken off the minuut the merge had been announced, which was a big shocker considering everybody wanted Alejandro home.

Now they were back right where they had started. On the small island where the losers usually went after getting kicked off. Neither of the two felt the need to hurt each other anymore now that they had regained their friendship back. (With no help from Duncan, whatsoever).

Courtney tried to play it single throughout the season, but couldn't help the thought of being with dirt farm, Scott Wilson, the fiery red head who had caught her heart. She knew he was alike to Duncan Matthews in many ways, but at the same time, he wasn't. He was a total jerk to everyone, but he was smart enough to know how to actually treat a girl. ...Or technically, just Courtney.

Now, Duncan tried his hardest to win Gwen back, he hadn't succeeded. Finally deciding she was over him, Duncan left it alone. Gwen knew she should feel broken hearted and perhaps a little hurt, but she wasn't. She did feel something for Duncan, but that was before. Way before. She pretended to be happy about the single life, but she found herself feeling meer guilty than the last dag when she sees Trent surrounded door his fan girls.

Gwen definitely admits her faults to him. She left him in the dirt for no reason, and now she felt the mistake she had made. Sure, Trent had his nine obsession, but after looking back at some of the After Math episodes, Gwen realized it had nothing to do with her. The pit in her stomach made it hard for her to apologize, so she just left it alone and pretended he didn't exist like he was pretending she didn't exist. It broke her heart.

This was why Courtney had found her gothic bestie sitting lonely at the fruit bar with a pineapple sap in her hand. She didn't even take a sip. All she did was poke her straw around like a child did playing with their food.

"Why aren't u partying with the rest of us?" Courtney asked, snapping Gwen out of her trance. "You just missed Owen eating about ten plates of radioactive mush. Chef put it out to trick us, I guess."

"No thanks. I'm pretty sure I want to sleep without any Owen nightmares tonight," Gwen chuckled, getting over the fright Courtney had just gave her. When did she even come in?

"Alright, what's up? Is it Duncan messing with u again?" Courtney asked pointedly. Gwen was silent for a moment before shaking her head.

"Is it Cody?"

She shook her head.

"Heather?"

Once again, she shook her head.

"....Trent...?"

Not even coming as a surprise, Gwen nodded her head.
