Caitlyn Thompsett is my best friend. She is always bubbly, she loves being a big goofball, and she makes me laugh, rain of shine. I could never be without Caitlyn. She is my best friend in the world, and she just makes me want to laugh when I'm upset of depressed. Sound familiar?
Jessica Earley is definately my closest friend. I love being with her. She can be stifling and cold like ice, but she's alot of fun. She's always chilled out, she loves swimming, and she wants to pick up surfing from her dad. Sound familiar agian?

At the end of 8th grade, I didn't want to leave. Doug, Cait and Jess were my best vrienden in the world. Wait...scratch that about Douglas being my best friend. But I didn't want to leave them behind. Douglas I didn't care about leaving.
When I got home, I walked in the door and my mom stopped me short. "Where do u think you're going?" she asked me.
"To put my stuff in my room...?" I looked at her funny.
"No u aren't." She said. "Not when I got u an audition to be on Broadway!!!"
I screamed and hugged her tightly, grabbing the pamphlet from her hands. I have been auditioning to be in a Broadway musical since I was seven, and it's been six years. I've been auditioning for six years, and I finally got in! I ran to my room and jumped onto my bed, screaming with excitement. I started reading the pamphlet.
"'After choosing out of over 8,000 participants," I read, "the following six have been chosen: Rachel McCord, Bryan Tacmant, Brittani France, Caitlyn Thompsett, Jessica Anne Earley," then my smile faded as I read the last name. "Douglas Jensen.'" I fell back onto the bed. How could Douglas get in?! He can't act, he can't dance, he can't sing. of at least, I think he doesn't...DAMN!!!
Then I continued reading. "'Those chosen shall meld to the Rockabelle's Talent Theatre in New York on Saturday, June 18th, and roles will be gegeven out.'" Then I dropped the pamphlet on my dresser. "June 18th?" I asked myself. "That's tomorrow!!!"
I got up off my bed and ran to my closet to find something to wear. I grabbed a hanger out of my closet with a red, white and blue striped tube top, boven and washout denim skinny jeans. I grabbed a pair of black flats, appartementen and shoved everything into a big plastic bag, when-
"Knock, knock!" I heard a knock at the door. I ran out of my room and opened the door to see Caitlyn and Jessica.
I sighed. "What do u want?"
"Can u drive us to Rockabelle's with you?" Cait asked.
"What..." I asked softly. "That place is for wanna-be's and skanks and weirdos."
Jess scoffed. "Just kidding. We wanted to see if u have costumes for us!" Jessica nodded.
"What do u mean..." I asked softly.
"Duh!" Caitlyn said. "Didn't u get the pamphlet?!"
"Well, yeah-"
"Didn't it tell u what the musical was gonna be?" Jess asked.
"No." I zei sotly.
"Ohh," Caitlyn said. "Well, do u want to know?!"
"Sure...I guess."
"Ok," Jess looked to Caitlyn and they both counted to three together.
"IT'S TOTAL DRAMA ISLAND!!!!!!!!" They screamed excitedly together.
Total Drama Island? I didn't even watch that show.
"You guys are weird," I started walking back to my room but they stopped me.
"Look," Jess started, "whether u want to go along with the topic of not, u have to do this! This is your only chance to become famous, Britt!"
"Please?" Caitlyn asked once.
I looked at Jess, then at Cait. "Just one question,"
"M-hmm." Cait nodded.
"It was a mistake that Douglas got in, right? Please say right!"
"Umm," Jess looked at Cait, "Well, no. He got in because of his audition."
I looked at them like I was about to cry. Then, I went back into my room and locked the door and cried into my pillow. This could not be happening.
