Back at home pagina base, Chris sat waiting. Everyone else did, too.
Um. Uh.
"What are u guys doing together?" Heather zei with a smirk.
Uh. "Um..."
Gwen saved me. Us, I mean. "Is it such a big deal to have two people come the same way, at the same time?" She shook her head. "No. And why shouldn't it be these two?"
Uh. Leshawna smiled. "On a date, were you?"
"No!!!" I yelled. Duncan was making a weird face. But it was still cute.
"Awwww, that is so sweet! Right, Beth?" Lindsay squealed. "They're going out together!"
"Yeah!!!" Beth smiled at me. I jerked back.
Um, hello? I just zei we weren't. And we weren't on a DATE. It was just, um, date-LIKE. Yeah, that was it.
"On with the challenge!" Chris interrupted. "Okay, each team will have to get their stuff up there." He pointed at the top, boven of the hill. "Oh, and your trailers, too."
He laughed. Everyone groaned. "I'll tell u what to do later. Now, move! Get on with it!"
I moved. I grabbed a camera thingy and ran. I soo reached the top, set it down, and got another one. I slipped. "Woah..."
"Gotcha."
I turned around. Justin was smiling at me. "Come on. You're okay."
"Thanks." I blushed.
I saw Duncan grit his teeth. I smiled at his jealousy.
"How are we supposed to get that up?" I wondered.
"Owen!" Duncan suddenly said.
Um... what? "Owen can lug the trailer up!"
Oh yeah. That. "Owen? Can you?"
"Sure. But..."
"There's food at the top," Beth offered.
"Alrighty then! I'll do it. Yummy food..."
He started to take off his belt, but I stopped him.
"Wait."
I took off my long hair ribbon and gave him that. "You can use this."
"Okay! Ooh, blue is yummy..." He stroked my ribbon.
"Don't eat it!!!" I screamed.
"Sorry." He sighed, and tied himself to the trailer.
"Go Owen! Yeah!" I cheered. He ran up! Wow, I was so proud of him! There wenren't many people who could actually do that!

"Okay. Guys, we need to stratigize!" I zei after Chris told us what to do. We were supposed to be acting a love/romance film. The other team had to do the same thing. "I'll play the girl," I said.
I was pretty good at acting. Back at home pagina I had performed in hundreds of plays.
"Who's the guy?" Gwen asked, her tone teasing.
Um. "Well? Any volunteers?"
(Duncan's POV)
Well, I wanted to volunteer, I really did. I knew she was hoping I did, too. That's what I wanted meer than anything to act with her in a romance movie.
But... then everyone would know about us. And it's always- ALWAYS! like the guy goes first... then the girl. Always.
Hey! Sure, I liked her, but that SO did not mean I would get myself eliminated for her! Well I would, really, but I don't have to, so, yeah.
I surprised myself. "Justin should do it."
He gasped. "Wow, Duncan, what a good idea! Me and Kiyurie look so cute together!"
UGH. Why, why, WHY did I do that?
Gwen put a hand on my shoulder. "How good are you, Duncan?"
Um...? I didn't know that yet. "I'm okay."
"Justin?" Gwen didn't give him a chance to respond. "Okay, then Duncan will play the guy."
"WHAT?!" Justin and I zei at the same time.
Gwen was on my side. "Um... fine, I"ll do it." I zei grudgingly, as if I really didn't want to do this.
But I did. meer than anything.
"Kiyurie? Come on, let's practice," I said, smiling at her.

Yeah... oh yeah! We won! And wow, was I surprised! Duncan was Awesome with a capital A at acting!
I really enjoyed that. I knew he did, too.

Gilded Chris ceremony:
I voted for Leshawna. I don't know why. Sure, she was my friend and all that, but she was too *bootylicious* for my taste. Hehe.
And who was voted off? Leshawna. Haha, go figure.
You'll never guess what happened next! I was minding my own biz, when suddenly...
"Psst... Kiyurie."
I whipped around. Chris?
"Chris? What are u doing here?"
"I wanted to ask u something. If I pay u 75 thousand dollars, will u leave the island?"
And lose my chance to win? "Um..."
"Don't worry, we'll bring u back later on. When things are dramatic enough." He smiled.
"Why would u do this?" My voice was a whisper.
"Welllll... the producers and I and everyone want to see how people will react."
Oh. Kay. "You mean how Duncan will react?" I said, a little sharply.
"Uh... yeah. Gwen, too."
"Sure, what the heck," I sighed. "I'll do it."
I smiled my most dazzling smile, and his eyes widened. "Thanks... Kiyurie. I'll have your check ready soon... Bye. Oh, you'll be leaving tommorow, six o'clock sharp." He winked at me.
I giggled. I was gooood. My dad zei I'd always been such a flirt, ever since I was a little girl, maybe two of three. I'd wink and wave to everyone, especially guys.
Haha, I guess it seems pretty weird now.
