I have no words for how pissed the BL ending makes me, they deserved SO much more!

With Freffy I hated it, but at least everyone knew how much they loved eachother. Alex and Izzie's was pointless, they had no reason to break them up. Well other than Katherine Heigl leaving, they were perfect.

And Freffy's ending to...really neither of the writers saw how amazing these couples were and how they had such great potential for endgame... so disappointing.

Brucas and Freffy's endings were terribe but at least they kinda acknowledged how much Freffy loved each other even though they didnt end very well. When Brucas ended for good they didnt even have a proper last scene together. I nearly threw something at the screen. I hate Markn Schwahn :@

Definitely! They made me love them so much, especially by the end, and then they just drop this horrible ending with them on us. I mean, I know that it was because of Katherine, but they could've at least left them on good terms.

& Freffy!!! <3 But at least Effy knew that Freddie loved her & Effy loved Freddie. But it's obvious Brucas deserved so much more. They like blow it up so badly. It makes me really sad ):

All of their endings were AWFUL.

But this one pissed me off the most, he fucking DIED!

I know that BL fans are disappointed with how BL broke up. But as far as their actual official ENDING... I think they got a pretty decent ending and closure in season 4. They tried to work things out one last time, by going to the basketball banquet together. But they both realized that night that going together as dates was a mistake, and that it just wasn't meant to be between them. They realized that they didn't have a love as strong as they should, and that they were better off as friends at that point. And they both admitted that to one another, and mutually agreed to just remain friends from then on. I don't know what better closure you can expect?

It's not realistic for us to have expected a sappy scene with them declaring their never ending deep love for eachother. That wouldn't have made much sense, considering that they had already admitted that they DIDN'T have a love that strong. During their breakup, we heard Brooke admit that she'd probably always love Lucas... and in the season 4 finale, we heard what Lucas wrote about Brooke in his book. I think that's about as much as we could have expected at that point. If Mark knew that he wanted BL to end up with other people down the road, then them admitting their love for eachother one last time would have contradicted that, and would have held that vision back in a way. It would have given the impression that no matter who Brooke or Lucas ended up with, that they would always deep down be holding onto eachother on some level... and that's clearly not what Mark wanted for them.

But ofcourse this is all just my opinion, and we all have our own ideas of what qualifies as a "good" ending for these couples. But from my LP fan point of view, I think BL got as good of an ending as they possibly could have had, without being endgame.

While I agree with the others that said at least they acknowledged how much FE loved one another their ending was still awful imo. We never even got to see Effy find out what happened to Freddie, when the series ended she still wondered if he left her cause she was mentally ill.

All BL ever got was screwed over. The writers took every chance they could to try and erase the relationship they had, to try and make out as if Lucas was always IN LOVE with Peyton, which he damn sure wasn't.

Sorry, but to be totally crude about it - I'm damn sure Lucas wasn't thinking of Peyton while he fucked Brooke. So let's cut that shit.

I`m kind of satisfied with FE. To me they ended up together clearly although Freds died.

Alex/Izzie - They fucked them up so badly and they didn`t deserve it. They completed/complete each other in the most beautiful way and were a fantastic couple.

BL's ending was perfectly fine lmao. the fact that mark "tried to erase their history" later on doesn't change the fact that they still got a perfectly proper, and full closure ending as a couple. What mark later wrote into the show about LP (and how Lucas had loved Peyton since the first time he saw her) has nothing to do with BL's ending that they DID still get. all of the points regarding who Lucas loved in seasons 2 & 3 are pretty irrelevant to this question regarding BL's ending. They didn't end because apparently Lucas had "always loved Peyton." They ended because of the LACK of strong love between him and Brooke. They both acknowledged that. And they both agreed that they were meant to be just friends. That has nothing to do with LP, and their story.

All of these endings sucked for all these couples but I hated Freffy's ending more than any of them. Another couple that comes to mind for this poll is LOgan and Veronica from Veronica Mars. Their ending made me so frustrated.
