Great story, great friendship, epic quotes along the way (that are still being ripped off & used by other fanbases, for other couples today lol), endgame, acknowledgement from not only the creator, but basically every character on the show that they were meant to be since season 1, LP + baby literally driving off into the sunset, etc. The only somewhat disrespectful thing that I can think of is that the show gives LP barely any acknowledgement, now that they aren't on the show anymore. Lucas was written off after season 6, apparently because of contract/pay complications with Chad. And because of that, Peyton (his wife) also had to go. Which is fine, honestly. I'd rather them leave together if one has to go, and I do appreciate that the show wanted to keep their endgame, even if it meant them both leaving. But their characters are still HUGE parts of the show, and still have HUGE ties to the remaining characters who are left. They're best friends, and even family to these remaining characters... yet it's like they just fell off the face of the earth, and no one even cares. No post cards. No letters. No phone calls. No emails. No presents sent during occasions when they should be. Nothing. LP are just gone, with it never even being announced or acknowledged WHERE they went lol. Just strange. We've gotten the rare mention ofcourse, but it's just that... rare. And certainly not during important moments when they SHOULD be mentioned. But all in all, I guess that's just their characters not getting the respect they deserve IMO, not necessarily them as a couple. (Chuck & Jenny) When I was expecting them to have a really good scene in season4 (because they really needed one, and it was logical for them to have one), all I got was a short phone-call about nothing relevant, and them standing in the same room, her talking to him and Blair about stuff, but them never actually speaking to each other. And then Chuck and Blair got a scene at the end instead. He should have apologized to her for dumping her for Blair right after they had sex, there should have been nice music playing, and they should have had meaningful eye-sex. They got endgame & the creators seem to respect them.: If you didn't know the show/the couple you'd probably think not so great, since they never kissed and him being very shy with the opposite sex and phobic of physical contact he pulled away when she tried to hold his hand...but they did end up going out in the end and several times they shared some of the cutest and most awkward scenes ever during their courtship of eachother...I'd say Detroit 187 both treated Fitch/Sanchez well and made a couple that was truly adorable and unique among the shipper world. posted een jaar geleden.

They got endgame & the creators seem to respect them.: everything kellyerin said!! leyton were always treated very well as a couple, pretty much perfect actually! it's just that they're not acknowledged much anymore, ever since they were written off for financial reasons. but as much as that sucks, I guess it's kind of expected. the show's just busy focusing on it's new characters and storylines. I get that. i would have loved for more leyton mentions over the past 2-3 seasons since they've been gone... but im still extremely grateful that the show did make the decision to write them both off together, and not to compromise their endgame by just writing off lucas. i think that action alone tells us how seriously the show takes leyton's relationship & endgame :D posted een jaar geleden.
