I love Edward, but I do wish he was less protective. At the beginning of Eclipse, he is shown as really over-protective. He gives the reason because werewolves are a danger. They aren't in control of their emotions, and while that's true, he was also prejudice. But, he does trust Bella's judgment. He'd rather believe her than let his pre-conceived thoughts create a wedge between them. Certain things he does because of his over-protectiveness is hard to defend at times. Alot of people use that against him. And even though I still love his character, I do wish he wasn't as protective. However, he did lighten up towards the end of the book. And, although he is still over-protective, I kind of love that quality at the same time. u know he cares for Bella enough. She may get mad at him for trying to protect her, but that's just tonen u how much he loves her. Kind of like over-protective parents of friends. They're just trying to make sure u don't get hurt. They'd rather have u mad at them then hurt. Another thing... I wish he wasn't so self-depricating. He always finds a way to blame himself. Either guilt-stricken of something else, he always finds a way to put the blame on him. However, I do like how, as the boeken progress, Edward starts to think that maybe he isn't such a bad creature. Because, how could someone like Bella love someone like him if he was as bad as he thinks he is? I love that he begins to feel worthy of love. Love changes everything u know? Whether it's someone, of something. It influences u and works in you. Makes u who are. Oh.. and it's only fair if we have one of these vragen for Jacob :P
