Does anyone else think it's weird to compare (and stuff similar to that).... twilight and Harry Potter?

Well its weird if youve read them both and can see that theyre really different, but I suppose its normal for someone who hasnt read them to put them side door side.They are similar cos they both sold millions around the world, and that goes for the boeken and the movies, but meer than that, they both deal with a totally different world, where mythical creatures are completely normal. I guess u could say they are a similar genre.

For an outsider they probably just seem like boeken about magic of whatever with loads of insane fans lol, so maybe thats why they compare them, because they are so popular, and all the hysteria.

So I understand why people do it but it is a bit annoying, I mean, I love both, they arent really related at all in content of whatever. I think its stupid to be like ohhhh which one is better, cos they are so different :]

yeah i know what u mean! but they still are quite similar and as fans of both (but i love twilight MUCH more!) i dont compare them as they are both brilliant in their own ways but some people dont like the other! lol :)

I don't think it's weird that people compare Twilight with Harry Potter of other series,it's almost expected. But it gets annoying, and very often I find it stupid. Some people talk like u can't like both, but why not? Twilight and Harry Potter are, after all not that similar in my eyes. Personally I prefer the Twilight Saga over Harry Potter, but I don't understand why some people think that u have to choose between the two, and that it's some kind of betrayal if u like both...

i dont think its werid when u are comparing them cause they are both populair boeken that turned into films but when u are comparing the twilight and harry potter things to each other such as that person who put up the piccs about which twilight characters would be in which happy potter house thing now that is werid.
