He would have cuz' in new moon,the part where Bella had the slightest chance to survive in drowning and where Jacob was fetching Bella to her house she was thinking whether she would save herself from misery door simply telling Jacob i luv u.But then Alice came, and at the last minute, she changed her mind.

I think that he had a chance, but not a true chance. Had Alice not had the vision of Edward going to the Volturi and had Bella not saved Edward and truly felt his love, Bella would have probably married Jacob. She probably would have loved him and would have felt incomplete without him. However, she'd always love Edward, and therefore would love Jacob like a very, very, very close friend, but not as a lover.

No,he didn't for a few reasons.One,you can't change of rewrite how the boeken are written.Two,Bella's hart-, hart and love only belong to Edward,even though she does love Jacob,but not as much as she loves Edward.Third,if she and Jacob had gotten together,who is to say it would have lasted,because he could have imprinted on someone else,which he did in the end.All in all,everyone got a happy ending,and the people ended up with who they should have been with.
