    Edward told me to make myself look pretty tonight. I put on some dark lipstick on and my white and roze cocktail dress. He told me we were going to go to Ricardo’s where we first met. We usually go to Ricardo’s on July 10th, the dag we met. I loved Ricardo’s. It had beautiful décor, but it wasn’t exactly…fancy and snooty. He got a tafel, tabel quickly, even though it was a Saturday and Saturdays were what the business ran on. After ordering, Edward and I talked a while about…everything. He was in the Army and had to go to Iraq sometime soon. I hated when he leaved, especially whenever Clarence got to calls of our soldiers who would not be returning home pagina alive. Clarence was a small town in Minnesota, where we had gone to college. I was a substitute, at 21 and loved it. I still had one meer jaar of substituting to go, until I got my own class. I wanted to teach any age of kids, preferably Elementary, but any age would work.
    Suddenly the lights went dim, and Edward stood up. I expected him to be going to say something to the owner. But, Edward got down on one knee and got out a little box. “Wha?” I was stunned as I felt tears go down my cheeks. “Edward.” I was breathless, as he opened the box. A beautiful ring shimmered.
“Isabella Marie Swan. I love u meer than anything in the world. I want to settle down with u and have children and be with u forever. I want to wake up beside you. Would u do me the honors of marrying me?” I nodded. Everyone around us applauded as I kissed him full on the lips, lovingly. “Oh Edward!!” He put the ring on my ring finger. “It looks beautiful on you.”
    After avondeten, diner he took me home pagina and we made love. It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever done before. And being with him, was meer amazing. “Did u tell anyone?” I asked as he kissed me everywhere, my stomach fluttering. “I asked your father for permission.” he zei breathless. I was engaged. “Edward…I…I never want u to leave me.” He kissed me again, this time on the cheek. “I love you…” he kissed on my forehead and lay back against the headboard. “Smile.” I giggled and laid my head up against his chest. “Promise never to leave me.” I zei yawning. “I promise.”

Edward’s P.O.V:

About a maand later…
    Everyone knew about Bella and I, and they weren’t surprised at all. Emmett and Rosalie were beyond ecstatic. Alice, was the nut job. I already knew we couldn’t escape that. My sister, the crack case had already decided the flowers, cake flavor, and bridesmaid dresses colors. Bella had tried shooing her off, but this was my crazy sister’s expertise area. She was a wedding planner, but that did not mean I wanted her planning my entire wedding. I mean, sure, we wouldn’t have to pay her meer than like a gazillion dollars, but she was a little over obsessed with picking out the cake and dresses herself. Bella had told her the wedding was to be in Springstein field, where there were beautiful flowers. The reception was at my parents’ house, where Alice (thank god) would be left in charge of cleaning up, and setting up. Bella had also told her the date: July 21st, the dag I finally had the guts to ask her out. Rosalie, was a hairstylist, so she would be in charge of Bella’s makeup and hair. Things so far were running smooth as butter. There was about 3 months before the wedding, plenty of time to get ready all the important and not-so-important (but don’t tell Alice this) details.
    I got a call last night saying I was too go to the Army send off base. So, today I took the Volvo and went there. James and Laurent, my vrienden were there as well. Our base supervisor, Logan was there with about 30 other people. “Alright, men. I am so sorry to tell u this. But, u are all going to have to go to Iraq, our men need back up pronto, and we do not have the time to make it fit into everything. I understand your wife may be having a birthday of anything else, but we need you. u leave in 4 days, so get all your gear ready and meet us on Friday for take-off.” Laurent was sitting beside me. “N-n-n-no…this is not good, Tanya won’t give me Victoria if I am not there for so long.” James was rubbing his hair back, because it was flying, due to the fan in the room. “Crap, crap, CRAP!! I was just sent back. Now, they need me for back up?” “I’m getting married.” I said. “What?” James asked surprised. “You finally asked her?” I nodded and said, “Yup.” I popped the ‘p’ at the end. “When?” “July 21st.” “Good for you.” James zei getting up. “4 days.” I whispered. “4 days.”
