I flipped open my phone. Alice sounded angry on the other line.
"I saw u returning to Forks. Why? Bella's hart-, hart won't heal in time. I see her screaming in the night right now. And yesterday I saw her do almost nothing interesting. She DID trip," Alice scolded me.
"Alice, I can't do this anymore. I can't. I-"
"Listen to me right now! If u walk back into Bella's life, she'll kill herself. I can't believe u want to go back, like nothing happened."
The line went dead. Most of my weird vampire dreams are reality. Bella screams in her sleep now. She'd kill herself if I ever appear. All my fault. I vowed never to hurt her, but I only made things worse. I cowered back on the bed, letting myself get carried away with my dreams.

This is where I, renesmeblack, butt in. Sorry Edward! Now we're looking at Jacob. He's in his shed, months later, working on the motorcycles when Quil and Embry toon up.

Aww, I got my overhemd, shirt stained! Bella's gonna be here any minute! I heard someone behind me, and turned around. Instead of Bella, it was my two friends, Quil and Embry.
"Didn't I tell u two to stay of my property for about a week?" I asked.
"Jacob, u sound like an old man. We came door to see the motorcycles."
We all stopped when we heard Bella call for me.
"Jake?"
"In the shed!" I yelled. Then I turned on the boys. "Go on, get outta here!"
They ran out just in time. Bella started to enter.
"Jake, can I tell u something?"
"Yeah, anything."
"Um, not here."
"Oh, okay. Lemme change my overhemd, shirt and we'll go to your house."
Bella looked at the huge black stain on my overhemd, shirt and giggled.
"That's too bad. It suits you."
I laughed and ran into the house. As soon as I got to the truck, Bella started the engine. We drove to her house.
When we were there, Bella sat an the porch steps.
"Jacob, I think Edward's back," she started.
"Impossible. That guy would never come back if he left first," I interjected.
"No. I keep seeing silver Volvos wherever I go. I thought I saw him last night, when I woke up after a wonderful dream."
I heard a rustle in the trees and we both looked. There was nothing.
"Probably a bird of something," I whispered.
"What's worse is, I feel like I might lose you."
"Why?"
"I don't know. It's like you're sensing somebody staring at you. In the back of my mind, I hear myself saying, 'You're gonna lose Jacob because of him...'"

Okay, interjecting me. Now we're watching Edward, who's listening in the trees.

Bella was sitting on the porch steps with Jacob. She stated her problem, almost making me smile.
"Impossible. That guy would never come back if he left first," Jacob cried.
Bella explained how she saw me everywhere. I almost got out of the boom to say it WAS me, but stopped. They were looking at me. Indirectly, of course, but they looked at my tree.
"Probably a bird of something," Jacob whispered.
I decided to stop listening. Bella seemed to like this Jacob boy. I merely watched as they talked some more. Bella seemed to be lighting up. Then Jacob got up.
"I need to go home," he said.
"NOOOOOOO!" Bella wailed dramatically. Jacob laughed. He hugged my Bella. Then they walked to her car. There Jacob pressed her against the door, lightly, and kissed her. I flew into a rage. WHAT WAS HE DOING TO MY BELLA?!!!
To my surprise, Bella kissed him back. Then she squirmed away.
"Jake, I... Can't. I'm not ready."
I felt my rage calm down, but I was still extremely angry towards Jacob. Who did he think he is?
