Chapter 4
*Bella’s pov*
I kissed Nessie and hugged her goodbye.
“Bye honey, be good.” I said.
She’s going to Italy with Aro. Her eyes were wide in horror. Maybe, afraid about Aro and the rest of the Volturi.
Edward, who was beside me, carried her. Nessie kissed me for the last time and punched Edward on face, telling him, “Bye dad. Wish me luck. “
Edward kissed her on her forehead and put her down. She kissed everyone goodbye except Emmett. Nessie went straight to the plane without looking at him. Emmett’s eyes were confused.
At the door, I saw her waving her hand, crying, I waved back.
My family watched the plane as it disappeared in the sky.
Edward looked at me, and I know what’s on his mind. He was about to kiss me when I hit him on his side using my elbow slightly.
“Have u lost your mind, we’re on the airport. This isn’t the right time for that.” I zei angrily.
“I don’t care about them.” he said.
I took a deep breath.
“Later then?” he zei again.
I hesitated and didn’t respond. I can’t promise him. I’ m tired and I wanted to rest. But I guess, there’s no way to stop him.
I noticed Edward’s face. He was still looking at me.
“Okay, later.” I finally said.
“You promise?” he asked.
“Yeah.” I assured him.
“Really?” He asked again, curiously.
“You don’t believe me, don’t you?” I asked him in disbelief.
“No… not that I don’t believe you, it’s just that…” he didn’t finish the sentence. He glanced at Alice.
“What?” I asked again still waiting for his seconde words.
“Never mind.” He zei as we walked back to the car.
We reached home. We walked silently to the room, without talking.
“All right, time to fulfill the promise.” He broke the silence.
“What promise?” I pretended.
His eyes were confused. His arms folded on his chest as he leaned to the wall. I stared back, expressionless.
“Alice’s right, you’re not going to fulfill your promise.” He said, disappointed.
I remember when he glanced at Alice when he was asking for my promise at the airport. I don’t want to upset him. So what else can I do?
“The visions can change.” I zei smiling.
He looked at me. His eyes were unbelievably beautiful. He smiled – my favoriete crooked smile. He went closer to me. He wrapped his arms around my waist.
He started to kiss me passionately. Suddenly, I realized that he’s dragging me to the bed, pulling my overhemd, shirt off... I pulled him away.
He looked at me, confused.
He asked, “What?”
I took a deep breath.
“This is not part of the promise, right?” I said.
He hesitated as he looked at me hungrily, reading my expression. He sighed and finally pulled away. I was about to apologize but he went out. He closed the door loudly. I froze. Obviously, he’s unsatisfied.
I wrapped my arms around my legs, sitting at the bed. I took a deep breath and shut my eyes tightly.
Surprisingly, I heard the doorbell. I jumped and was about to go out when I heard Edward, opening the door at the living room.
I went back at the bed, when I heard my phone buzzed. I flipped it open. I saw a strange number. I answered it confusedly…
“Hello?” I asked.
“Hey mommy, it’s me...” a small voice said. I recognized the my daughter quickly.
“Oh, hey. Nessie.. Who owns this phone?” I asked.
“It’s Aro’s. I missed you… And I asked him if I can borrow his phone” she said.
“Oh! I miss u too honey, door the – “
She cut me off.
“Aro wants to talk with you.” She said.
Aro? I froze when I heard his name. But then, I relaxed.
“Okay.” I finally said.
“Hey Bella… your child is really mesmerizing. u know? She loves jokes. I admire her.” Aro said.
“Oh! Thank you.”
“Ummm.. Can we call u later? I don’t have much battery. I’m sorry I didn’t notice before she called you.” He said.
“Oh yeah, sure. It’s okay.” I said. I was about to turn off my phone when suddenly, Aro spoke.
“By the way, volgende week, I’ll give your daughter a 1-week vacation. She was convincing me a few moments ago.” He said. I heard Nessie’s voice, rejoicing. Then the call ended.
I stood up happily. I went downstairs to meld this to Edward.
But suddenly…
*Bella’s pov*

I went back at the bed, when I heard my phone buzzed. I flipped it open. I saw a strange number. I answered it confusedly…
“Hello?” I asked.
“Hey mommy, it’s me...” a small voice said. I recognized the my daughter quickly.
“Oh, hey. Nessie.. Who owns this phone?” I asked.
“It’s Aro’s. I missed you… And I asked him if I can borrow his phone” she said.
“Oh! I miss u too honey, door the – “
She cut me off.
“Aro wants to talk with you.” She said.
Aro? I froze when I heard his name. But then, I relaxed.
“Okay.” I finally said.
“Hey Bella… your child is really mesmerizing. u know? She loves jokes. I admire her.” Aro said.
“Oh! Thank you.”
