“I......My mum....” I couldn’t even speak anymore. Jack, the chief of police, ran over putting his hands on my shoulders. “Your house Heidi?” I managed to nod. We got into his vehicle and drove full speed to my house. “The paramedics’ are coming too. That’s what u wanted right?” I nodded tears still spilling over. “Heidi, it will be ok. I promise.” Reaching my garden I heard one of the paramedics’ let out a low whistle which just made me cry harder. “Go wait in the kitchen” Jack zei pushing me in that direction. I saw Ben get pulled past the door in a stretcher. Oh god. Now I was responsible for Ben being injured. “I’m sorry Heidi. I couldn’t keep her down for long. But they have her chained up outside.” “Ben, it’s not your fault. u tried. What did she do to you?” “Stabbed me in the arm. It’s not as serious as it looks.” I muffled a cry. Why did I have such an awful life? “I‘m a good person” I zei out loud. “Hey, Heidi. Your mum will be ok don’t worry.” I nodded. There was everything in my life to worry about. One I saw my brother dead, two my dad died when I was six, and three my mum and Ben were both badly injured and losing a lot of blood. So really I had lots wrong with my life. Where would I go while my mum was in hospital? I couldn’t stay with Ben. And as far as I knew I didn’t have any relatives that hadn’t passed away. Jack stood in the door way. “Are u coming up to the hospital with us Heidi?” I nodded. In the car Jack told me he would stay at my house with me this evening unless I wanted to stay in the hospital with my mum and Ben. I told him I didn’t know where I wanted to stay yet, but I was actually hatching myself a plan. I had to wait until the nurse called me in to see her. She looked awful. Pale and fragile. “Mum?” I whispered quietly. “She’s asleep Heidi. Let her sleep. She exhausted” I jumped at the sound of the soft voice behind me. I turned around to face a beautiful blonde haired doctor, with the strangest golden coloured eyes I had ever seen. “I’m Dr.Cullen. I’ll be looking after your mum while she’s here.” He was smiling. I didn’t really think this was a time to be smiling but I guess he was a doctor; he was ment to be assuring me that everything would be ok, even if it wasn’t. At that minuut the piece of machinery monitoring the hart-, hart stopped, and everyone took immediate action. “Heidi, go wait outside” Dr.Cullen zei calmly. “Don’t worry everything will be ok.” I reached the hall, my legs felt like gelei under me. Before I knew it I fell to the ground and everything went black.
